The galaxy has just seen the end of the Dominion War. It is a time of peace and rebuilding, but from the shadows a dark enemy emerges. A Great war was fought, but the Federation and almost all the other major powers of the alpha quadrant fell to the Qunog. A last attempt was made by the Federation to save something of the Federation ways, A Sovereign class was sent out with 3 colony ships to colonize the planet of Aries, hoping that they could rebuild their and some day return to reclaim Earth and the Alpha Quadrant.

*A breif description of the chain of command in this RPG, the Council will be made up of a maxium of 3 members. They are in charge, then comes the president. If he wants something done, the council must approve on a basis of a 2/3rd vote. So basicly the President and Vice President are just figure heads that have some power but mostly they have to get their plans aproved. But the Fleet Captain(ME ) can over rule the President and the council if it is a matter of secuirty or the safety of the colony.

Born on Earth, Dan was always fascinated with weapons, He immiadiatly entered Star Fleet Academy, After 4 years in the academy he dropped out. After 2 years of travelling the quadrant he returned to Earth to begin working for Star Fleet, He was initially turned down until the Dominion Wars when he was employed to create defenses that would combat the growing Dominion threat, Unfortuanatly after just 2 months he quit his job and opened up his own galactic business, It is unkown where he found the latinum but he went to an abandoned sector of space and began creating unique weapons, Dubbed a Black Market Weapons dealer he was wanted by the Federation, Several months later he was a main supplier of weapons to the Dominion and the Klingon empire. Not long after that the war had ended and Earth was evacuated, He took his shuttle and followed the Federation vessels, He may have supplied the Dominion but he knew the Federation would allow him to rejoin them in under the curcumstances.
He has since then been using his talents to create weapons, Using his shuttle for parts he has already began supplying villagers with weapons, He is reasonable and will only charge them a small amount of food.
