Well, bad title, but we'll get there. This came from a discussion w/ Kevin about the hamburger topic, and grew,

Like, I can't stand pasta salad w/ mayo in it. Unless it's the Betty Crocker bacon ranch one. Otherwise, it has to be italian dressing.

And Chris' mom makes potato salad that has chopped up apples in it, and it is so good! (*hint hint*). But Kevin likes potato salad warm, the sicko,

So, anyway, go from there? What foods have you changed so that you like them? Or what do you have for a local food on the West Coast that we on the Eastern have never heard of? Or England, w/e. I'm tired, I'm rambling. Sorry,

Mmmm...cottage cheese...with pineapple.

I love it. It's weird and freakish but it makes me happy. And lemon cucumbers...lemon cucumbers in vinegar, with a little mayo and salt and pepper and sugar. LOVE that stuff.

I win...

One day I was with a bunch of friends watching a movie. I went to his kitchen, grabbed some Tostitos tortilla chips and sprinkled cheese on them then placed it in the microwave to melt the cheese.

Now that is a perfectly normal snack. What comes next isn't.

My friend had a can of instant chocolate whipped cream and snuck up and covered my chips with melted cheese with it. I shrugged and ate one anyways, followed by all the rest. Was awesome!

Soooooo good.

Weird foods? Well my dad has a recipy (?) with rice, parsely and mixed nuts in the oven and mushrooms. I sooooooooooo hate it,

I always try not to be eating home when he makes that.
I'll think some more about weird foods.

A few years ago I ate potatoe chips with mayonaise, wasn't an ideal combination,

I cant stand just plain old chicken noodle soup out of the can so I cut up left over chicken or turkey and add that to it along with a little bit of rice..mmmm turns out so good

I don't eat jelly though. I do like to put Hagelslag on the Peanutbutter. very rich food that is, and dry.

Stotties I didn't discover till I moved to the North East, and they're nice.

We have lots of regional food, for example Scouse, Cornish Pasties, Lancashire hotpot, etc (and please don't be as stupid as the person who thought that Cheddar cheese was American!). I like things like jam and cheese, and egg mayonnaise on banana bread.

Stotties are these very large bread rolls... and they're often used for sandwiches and stuff.

Scouse is a type of stew, as is Lancashire hotpot. Scouse used to be called lobscouse (most likely from the German Labskaus) and is a mutton stew dish, which is mixed with hardtack (which is a type of cracker, also known as ships biscuits). Lancashire hotpot is meat, potatoes and onion, and the potatoes are layed across the top.

Cornish pasties... they're a type of pie, I guess, though they don't look like one! They're a shaped pastry filled with minced beef or steak, potato, onion and swede. They're very yummy!

If I were to do all the regional food, I'd be here for hours... we have loads! I'll post them as I remember them

My mum once made: "Boerenkool met kaas en stukjes worst uit de magnetron"!! It was delicious.

If someone doesn't know what it is, i can't translate 'Boerenkool', but she trowed in Cheese and Saugages from the microwave! If i'm not wrong, you can even buy it in the supper in America

I also like pasta, with lots of cheese

Or pizza with lot's of cheese

Or.. well.. anything with lot's of cheese

I loooooooove cheese

Hmmm, hot potato salad is oki.

I love caribou. It's soooo good. Better than steak.

Some people think that eating things like turtle, alligator, scungilli, and calamari are weird, but whatever. They seem pretty normal to me. I only really like calamari out of that group, though.

And I hate sandwiches. All I'll eat is grilled cheese and chicken schwarma. Other than that they make me queasy o.O
