THANK YOU for posting in this thread... *bows at your feet*
No one seems much interested in the show anymore... I know it's over and all, but it's nice to chat still!

Yeah, it's definitely a favourite with me...
Do you like the funny episodes, like Bad Blood, Humbug and War of the Coprophages?

Bad Blood is probably my favourite episode, Humbug is okay, but not as good as the other funny ones, and War of the Corprophages is pretty decent. I really like Jose Chung's "From Outer Space". Mulder's high-pitched yelp is just great.

I preferred Humbug to Bad Blood actually... Mulder's scream in Jose Chung's is PRICELESS!!!!
War of the Coprophages was quite funny... I loved the phone call scenes.. Scully's facial expressions were hilarious...
I think Humbug isn't appreciated enough... maybe it just appeals to me more than other people for some odd reason...

Oh, Small Potatoes counts too, right? The Star Wars part at the start is soooo funny, and doesn't the woman start humming the theme tune or something? The part when Mulder walks in on 'Mulder' and Scully about to kiss is great as well,

Yeah I love the little frightened/surprised noise Scully makes, that was so funny! That whole ep was funny, although the Star Wars bits were the best!
Too bad we had to wait til season 7 for the real Mulder and Scully to actually kiss!

I loved all of those eps, Bad Blood especially...
OH, Jose Chung's: From Outer Space was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny.....I just couldn't stop laughing....
I also liked the finale of Season 9... Nothing Important Happened Today was good, although sort of flat...
And the ep where they kiss? In Season 7? Best moment of the entire series in my mind.....

I still haven't seen anything beyond season six, I'll get started on season seven as soon as I'm finished with season two of The O.C.,

Lol.. oh man, then you haven't seen a lot of Mulder/Scully moments!!!
Well in my girlishness, I ADORED the finale in that aspect but found it very unsatisfactory as an ending to the show...
You see Humbug had me clutching my sides... I think I had to pause the DVD once cause I laughed for so long... coulda been the mood I was in... perchance I should watch Bad Blood again!!!
Heehee, the Mulder scream just makes that episode IMO!!!!
Have you guys seen the earlier seasons? Did you like eps like Beyond the Sea, Never Again, Memento Mori?

Yeah, I haven't seen anythiny beyond season six, but I've seen all of seasons one to six, Memento Mori was saaaad, and you see on the special features for season four that they cut a Mulder/Scully kiss from that episode, Some of my favourites are Eve, The Post-Modern Prometheus, Triangle, Monday, Arcadia, The Unnatural... I'm trying to remind more stand-out ones from the earlier seasons but nothing is coming to me yeeeet.

Double woot for Eve! That was a REALLY good episode... freaky kids and everything!
Oh yes, I watched the cut kiss several times over lol! I'm such a shipper... *hangs head in shame* I think they should have left it in... it was far better then the Milennium kiss IMO...
Triangle really stood out as one of the greats...
Actually, I really loved a lot of S1... Darkness Falls and Tooms were brilliant also...
Ahhh Arcadia... my most watched episode! I don't think it was as great as it could be... I mean for a show that constantly played on the sexual tension between the leads they kind of left out an opportunity there but hey, I loved it anyway!!!!
Did you like The Unnatural? Probably because I'm not a baseball fan I found that it dragged a good bit... loved the Mulder/Scullty bits though.. David writes them so well!!!
Hmmm... *tries to think of other brilliant episodes* Oh my goodness, Ice from S1 was fantastic!!!! Really really good ep...

I thought the monster part of this episode was sooo rubbish, but Mulder and Scully having to live together undercover was good enough to make up for it,
Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man was another good one... And I do like a lot of those season one episodes, but I've seen them too many times to appreciate them properly anymore. I kept starting to watch season one, planning to move on to season two, and keep going through the whole show, but I'd stop for some reason, and come back in a few months or something and have to start back at the beginning,

Oh goodness... well I'm awful... I started by watching on tv from Memento Mori through to about Small Potatos in S4. Then I started buying and watched seasons 7,8,6 in that order. Then watched 9 on tv. Then bought more and watched 5,1,2 and I'm in the middle of 3 now!!! So I am the Queen of watching in the wrong order! As you can imagine, my grip on the mythology isn't great as a result... but I have fun anyway!!! I swore I'd watch it in the right order but I couldn't resist S7 with eps like Milennium and All Things! Silly shipper I am...
I just flipped on the tv and Die Hand Die Verletzt is on.. it's really one of those eps that you only appreciate the second time around... creepy though...

Ooooh, the train ones,
I watched Biogenesis this morning (thought I'd refresh my memory about the end of season six) but I kept almost falling to sleep, Not because it was boring or anything but because I was too tired to be watching TV. I think I got all the main points, though. Ready for season seven... whenever I can be bothered, Maybe tomorrow morning (two free lessons first thing, )

God yes, I really want another movie!
I FINALLY saw Gillian's new movie; The Mighty Celt. For a movie that looked pretty so-so it was actually a pleasant surprise! Plus, her character is just brilliant!
EDIT: FINALLY something definitive on the movie hold up:
Carter taking Fox TV to court over 'X-Files'
"The X-Files" creator Chris Carter has sued 20th Century Fox Television for breach of contract, contractual interference and other claims over payments allegedly due to the showrunner from the hit television series. 20th Century Fox TV is accused of reneging on terms of the deal because they were found to be "too favorable" to Carter, according to the lawsuit, filed in December in Los Angeles Superior Court. Carter brought the case through his production company, Ten Thirteen, and is seeking unspecified damages. The suit was filed by plaintiff attorney Stanton "Larry" Stein, the Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan lawyer who sued 20th in 1999 on behalf of "X-Files" star David Duchovny in a case of alleged "self-dealing" between Fox and its affiliated companies.

I will be there opening night! Just like I was there opening night for the first movie, . I love the show! I didn't really watch past season 7 though. I watched some episodes here and there but as soon as Mulder left...it just got weird. I hated Doggit.
I thought that the episode Small Potatos with the Star Wars quotes was really funny too. I also liked the episode. I also liked the episode when Mulder and Scully were at like a sideshow circus with this guy who had all these tatoos, and Scully pretended to eat this bug and Mulder was looking at her like, "Woah, what the hell?" Another episode I liked was one of the finales where they thought Mulder was dead and Scully was covering up for him and was talking to a board explaining how he died, etc. while Mulder was really with Crichek (can't spell his name, sorry) in like Bosnia or something. And the Cops episode because that was just really weird.
