I almost bought this game Untill my dad made me realise 40 euro's is still a lot of money for a game you are not even sure is that much fun as you think.

He's right though, i've only seen a weak Video of it and some pictures. I didn't like X2 and never palyed the first X... maybe i will wait for it to become cheaper...

Anyone got an opinion on this game? played it? What is it like? compares it too Freelancer? Is it worth 40 euro's for osmeone who think Freelancer is the best space game ever and would play Eve: Olnine non-stop if there wasn't a monthly fee on it?

I've never tried it but if you're looking for a good space sim game you can't go wrong with a game called Freespace 2. It's very hard to come by these days but the project is now I believe (albeit widely disputed) to be 'Abandonware' - available as a free download - I think this is because the company who created the game ("Volition") no longer exists and thus cannot receive any money for the games' production. It used to be available on a site called Home of the Underdogs - you'll have to Google it to get the exact site - I think it's something like www.hotu.com or something. There's no music files with this version but if you've got a sci-fi soundtrack just set that playing in the background (the new Battlestar Galactica soundtrack is a favourite of mine, that or if you have the cancelled Babylon 5 game soundtrack (originally entitled "Into the Fire" I believe) then that works just as well

Alternatively look for it on eBay - you won't be disappointed!
