I remain optomistic, for the most part.
-Senate remains GOP
-GOP loses a house seat or two, but remain in control
-Bush's approval rating continues to rise or stay roughly the same; it won't go lower than 45% for a significant amount of time
-Information on the SW TV series comes out
-Iraq will become more stable and succeed further
--Some US troops will pull out (not many, but some)
-Sam Alito will be filibustered by the democrats, as I had anticipated would happen with Roberts, but due to the situation then carried over to Alito, especially with his position on Bush's spying thing
-Firefox continues to take users from IE
-Fox News rises higher in ratings
-All 6 SW DVDs are released in a one-box set
-Hillary Clinton will seap more and more towards the presidential elections

Cost of living will always be a problem no matter who is President in my opinion.

Let's see.
- There will be council elections in England again, and the Lib Dems will take more seats.
- There will be a new leader of the Lib Dems
- There will be a scandal of some sort
- JAG will come out on DVD
- There will be a natural disaster
- There will be a terrorist attack
Sorry, but that's what I think will happen.

That's looking less and less likely. The lib Dem's seem to be in chaos. Infighting. There also lower in the polls that they were in the may election

The housing market is going to become a buyers market 100%
That's the only thing I know "fo sho". Its going to be something like 1929 all over again for the housing market. Hopefully it won't go past that.

- Gas prices will rise and fall as usual.
- New medical breakthroughs will have good news for us all.

The fact that there's no such thing as the "Progressive" Conservatives anymore means that your first prediction is doomed to failure.
Otherwise I agree with those.
I don't have predictions of my own . . . I'm too lazy for that.

1. Almost everything bad will get worse.
2. Most good stuff will get worse.
3. By accident, some good or bad stuff will get better.
And so on.

HIGHLY unlikely that we will join the Euro this decade. Blair isn't going to join the Euro. if he was ever going to join it would be when everyone else did.

Now, yeah, I'm not too sure about the House. I do think that there is a chance it could become dominated by the Democrats, but I'm confident the Senate will stay the same. It would be interesting, seeing the House become the body holding things up, instead of the other way around.
