Great, it sounds like the Enterprise series all over again, all about the action and special effects. And the fact that it is about a "war" makes this all the more true to me.. What happened to the days of ST, when they dealed with real issues such as what it is to be human, love, life.. etc etc

The link to the movie is now gone so that means the movie has been cancelled for good.

I still hope they make a movie fairly soon though. I actually didn't mind the all new people thing. But I didn't like the prequel stuff.

Oh man

I get the impression that like enterprise, this movie is going to take a bad dive down the charts after that comment.

We need Gene Roddenberry back!!!

Gene died 15 years ago.

I've known for a long time.. ahem!

Now I taught you didn't know.

What Star Trek needs is a new director and writer.

I will write a movie and i'm sure I could think of something better. How about 25th century trek? We should be moving forward, not backward.

I know that I am greatly outnumbered on this site when it comes to VGR fans, and though I am a fan of VGR I always preferred DS9 to all other Trek shows. I always wanted a film to look at the period after the end of the Dominion War, where every major power near to the Federation laid either in severe disrepair or in total ruin. It seems that the Trek decision makers would rather go back and deal with events that seem far less complex and far more likely to garner little interest.

How about a movie or even better a series done on a time ship like the one that was in Voyager. Thier primary focus would be preserving the time line. They could also have lots of guest apearances from former cast members because they can go back in time and get them whenever they want.

A romulan movie does sound interesting, but i hope it isn't another past/future romulan holodeck program like the finale to enterprise.

I've gotta be honest, I thought that the final episode of Enterprise was shocking, almost as bad as the end of Voyager..
