Anyone else hate Halo 2?

Is it just me, or are there a lot of people who are way too obsessed with Halo 2 for the X-Box. I mean, it's a cool game and all, but don't come up to me and tell me how you killed 5 guys with a sniper rifle without the scope (they say it like its the best thing thats ever happened to them). Here's an example of a typical conversation with my good friend James Dillon:

James: Rob...GUESS WHAT?
Me: What?
James: 32!!!!!!!
Me: What the hell are you talking about?
James: I'm a 32 man!!!!!
Me: Whats a 32?
James: It's my rank on Halo, I can't believe I'm finally a 32!!!!

See what I mean, thats (^) a real conversation that I had with my otherwise intelligent best friend. WHAT THE FLIP!!! Halo 2 is ruining people's lives. Please give me your input on the topic. AND IF YOU POST AND SAY, I'VE NEVER PLAYED HALO 2 JUST TO UP YOUR POSTS I'M GONNA GET SUPER PISSED.....SO DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

I love HALO 2. I'm good with the sniper rifle but I haven't played online for a few months now. Occassionally when someone else is talking about how good they were in a game I'll bring up my aim in HALO 2, but that's pertty rare.

Good game though! Can't wait for the next one! (which I'll be forced to by Xbox 360 just to play....)

I'm not saying it isn't a good game, because it is. All I'm saying is that there are a lot of people out there that take it way too seriously.

Oh...don't buy the 360 too quick there are a lot of gliches with it and I'm predicting there will be a recall and then a re-release.

Ya i heard about that to. Its a shame people let it take over there lives but there's nothing anyone can do about it. Me personally I cant stand Halo 2 My brother is obsessed with the silly thing.

I own it, barely play online with Live, my highest level is an 18. I hate people who brag about their levels.

I actually had to send a message to everyone on my friends list saying "**** off, I don't care about your levels, stop bragging."

im waiting for halo 2 to come out on pc before i play it, xbox live just costs too much, and i can't buy a full xbox just to play the game

I love Halo 2 when I play my cousins I'm avraging (SP) roughly 150 kills in a 1 hour period I'm the bomb with the sniper riffle. :d

Nah, just kidding. Halo 2 is a cool game, and i think you're just overacting. Not everyone who plays the game get's the Halo virus, lol.

Although i said it's cool, doesn't mean i like it.

I hated that cliffhanger ending. Now the only way I'll see the conclusion is through X-Box 360 and I will never buy that garbage.

I think hate is to strong a word. Yes, the ending could have been better. I was dissapointed with it. That wasn't Bungies fault though. They wanted to take longer but Microsoft said "Get it out now". Had Bungie been allowed to take longer it would have most likely been a better game. As for the multiplayer, I played online once for a grand total of 6 hours. I never will again. Modders, hackers, cheaters, take all the fun out of it. To the people I played against getting kills was all that mattered. Yeah, it's fun to rack up a good score but that shouldn't be your focus. I play for fun, winning is mearly a byproduct.

As for the 360, I'm relatively confident there'll be a special edition package type deal. If there is, I'll get it. If it turns out that there is not. I'll simply wait until the price drops.

Funny how people "Hate" a object funny really. Anyway I just got done playing racked up 47 kills on XBox Live just awhile ago. Nothing more fun then the Gulch wars.

Ok first of all, Halo 2 is a great game. Course there are some flaws but which game doenst have that today?
Halo is not ruining peoples lives, the people who play do that. (guns don't kill people, people kill people

) They aren't forced to play it in any way, to my knowledge...

And there are more severe versions of addiction, concerning gaming. The
World of Warcraft Hype for example..

And Enterprisim that is the level of his Halo 2 xbox live account, the number 32 is merely reflecting his skill level.

Btw I never played halo in my entire life
