Has anyone seen the movie "Donnie Darko"? If so, what did you think of it? I thought it was quite brilliant... very existentialist which is always cool to see and think about in a movie. I'll have to watch it again though, to make sure I get it all

Well, thank goodness for the search feature.

Anyway, I just saw this. It was pretty great, and interesting as in how complicated and simple it was all at the same time. I don't think they exactly advertised this film right, though. You always think of it as being a horror movie, even the title would seem to imply this. Not to mention the axe on the cover of the original version... Either way, it was still really good.

I watched this movie many years back. I remember liking for its uniqueness and obscurity.

^ Exactly. Since that movie I'm a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal. I soooo loved the movie, I saw it on the birthday of (and with) my father at the movies.
I loooooooved it. So weird, but so cool. And the music! Omg, really great.

I loved this movie, just because I love clever movies that have an "ahh... so that's why!" factor. I love movies where everything wraps up together. The end was a little depressing.

Did anyone spot the easter egg? I did the first time I saw the movie!

In one scene there is a pumpkin which has been carved to look like Frank, the rabbit man, on the the table in the background as Donnie and his sister discuss their halloween party.
