I was just wondering how people have supported or plan to support the Katrina relief effort. I was thinking about this because next month I will be going to Mississippi to help rebuild a home. My church will be sponsoring one home every month next year. I plan on going on as many of the trips as I can. Anyways, there are a thousand ways people can help and I was just wondering what ideas you might have.

I just donated money to the Red Cross. It worked out for me.

i donated baby supplies to red cross, but i don't think it is fair to rita people.. i didn't have lights or cooked food for 11 days. i had to skip baths that long, had to eat MRE's and it was terrible

Not to be cruel or anything, it wasn't that awfull when you look at it from europe. I thought the US citizens could supply the needed medicals and all that jazz. i have faith everything is cared for.

True... But this is the worst Natural disaster ever on U.S. Soil... and I survived it
