Fatral had just listend to Duran's message when the Earth Empire's message came through.

=^= Earth Empire ships, i will give you permission to enter cardassian space and take up positions surrounding Terrok Nor, but the order to fire on the federation and klingons will be given from me only, if you have a problem with that... then you have a problem with me!=^=

Fatral: 3rd Tell Cardassian fleets 34,21,65 to cloak and to move to these designated positions.... on my order they will decloak and hold their fire, understood?

3rd: Yes sir!

The federation fleet were the first to cross the border into Cardassian space.

The USS Sagotawa hailed Fatral

=^= This is admiral Bailey of the USS Sagotawa. the combined fleets of Earth and Kron'os have come here to demand that you relinquish command of DS9 and leave this sector...Immediately! There is to be no negotiation. Thousands of our people have been brutally killed due to you jem hadar and Cardassians. The alpha and soon Beta quadrants will not allow this monstrous thing to continue any longer.

Fatral suddenly became infuriated that he should call any act done by a jem hadar or Cardassian monstous.

Fatral: For your information admiral the jem hadar that killed your people were under the command of the dominion, we are the fighters of Cardassia. Non here are responsible for any of your deaths, so it is you who should leave here before you embaress yourself any further, admiral!

There was a short moments silence until a short phrase was uttered by the admiral

Admiral Bailey: Dominion scum...=^=

And with that the communication was cancelled and the federation ships continued towards Terrok Nor.

A few moments later the Klingon fleet crossed the border and headed in the same general direction, but just as they were aboout to join the federational fleet 3 fleets of Cardassian ships decloaked, raised shields, readied weapons and prepared to fire.

Duran was monitoring the situation and decided that Fatral had tried to prevent the conflict but the Federation had refused to see sense,

Duran "Ops send a message to Cardassia order them to defend our borders"

The ops officer looked at Duran and then to his pannel and said "At once sir"

Duran sighed, Then continued.

Duran "Helm head for Terrok Nor maximuim warp bring the fleet with us"

The helm officer nodded as the ships jumped to warp

The entire Cardassian fleet were at the ready, the federation and klingon fleet were seperated form each other. The federation ships continued to head towards terrok Nor at a parrallel angle to the klingons.

Klingon Flagship K'Resha

Garesh was pacing up and down his Neg Vahr class battleship. He had only just been made battle group leader and he didnt want to ruin his family name.

second in command: Sir the cardassian traiters have surrounded our battle group and are ready to fire!

Garesh heard this and started to lose his temper.

... ... ... ... FIRE!

The Neg Vahr opened fire on a nearby Guystan Vahn class ship which was destroyed. But in retaliation 49 Keldon class ships opened fire on the straight Klingon lines that were weaving through the keldon lines.

Gareshs' Neg Vahr was destroyed within seconds, along with a sixth of the rest of his fleet.

Durans fleet entered the system, He signalled both Fatral and the Federation and Klingon lead ships.

Duran "=^= This is Lord Duran, Cease hostilities at once !=^="

The Federation opened fire, The sudden impact caused an overload and the young Cardassian who Duran had been speaking to earlier.

Captain Lief:Lief to all Alpha and Gamma team ships! FIRE ON SIGHT OF THE FED. OR KLINGONS!

Fatral heard the change of moods over the communication.

Fatral:You heard him! attack! Bring up the reserves!



As he said that the cardassian reserve fleet was brought up from the rear and engaged the opposing klingon fleet which had already sustained many casulties.

The Klingon lines made a heroic move foward through Fatrals front line, breaking it instantly, the only reason iot had broken is that the klingon fleet had literally smashed through it with their own ships. Bird's of Prey... Neq Vahr.... Galor.... Keldon.... Hedeki... many others, destroyed within the space of 23 seconds.

On Fatral's view screen the sight made him glare and wander how a species could have a less disregard for their own lives than the Jem Hadar!

Duran watched, He was furoius he had liked the lad. He knew the family.... To many Cardassians have died he thought.

Tactical "Sir we have a defiant class vessel attempting to do an assualt run along our hull"

Duran waited a second and said "Open fire"

The effect was that the ship was destroyed in a few moments.

Fatral was concetrating on the battle when suddenly a console next to him started to beep...

4th: Sir, the Breen are attacking on our left flank!

Fatral: WHAT??????????




The breen fleet were slowly moving on the left flank destroying everything they could find as they went.

Fatral: 3rd, message Duran! inform him of the situation!

Just as that was set 2 torpedo's hit his ship which shook it tremendously

Duran recieved the message and was shocked, He ordered his helmsman to head back to Cardassia, After All Fatral could be cloned. He himself though was an original, A work of art that couldn't be cloned.

His fleet left the battle with him, Leaving Fatral extremely weakened in numbers, He sent a message to Fatral.

Duran "=^= Fatral I am irresplaceable to the Cardassian people, You are replaceable so I think its best I leave the fight to you=^="

Fatral was shocked when he heard this. Duran had doomed over 5,000 jem hadar and cardassians to their doom.

Fatral ordered flight wings 4,7,22 to attack the breen formationa nd the rest of the fleet to pull back to behind terrok Nor.

As this happened the enemy fleets came into range of the big guns of terok nor and they opened fire. destorying oine sip at a time, but the breen had already encircled Terrok Nor and attacked the fleet from behind while it was retreating. Fatral was trapped.

Ship after ship messaged Fatral.

Gasha: Whats going on?
Haresh: My shields are failing... AHHH.........
Weshta: Where has the fleet gone, my wing is almost des.....
5th: Sir we have nearly lost all of fleet 23!

3rd: Sir...

Fatral: WHAT?? He shouted

3rd: There is a gap in the federation lines, if we put pressure there... we can escape and fight another day....

Fatral looked at the helms man in admiration

Fatral: Duran... wants us to die on this day, no other so... we die, this day!

Fatral: =^= ALL SHIPS! RAMMING SPEED! ALL ARMED PERSONELL TRANSPORT TO TERROK NOR! ALL JEM HADAR AND CARDASSIANS... DIE FOR CARDASSIA!!!!!!! =^=

Almost straight after saying that a Klingon Bird of Prey warship crashed into the starboard side of Fatral's ship, completely obliterating it.

Duran sent a message back,

Duran "=^= Son of Cardassia Follow me, Jem'Hader stay and die=^="

Duran arrived at Cardassia, News of Terrok Nor being lost was spreading fast, The first order Duran gave was for Fatral to be recloned.
Duran then made a speech, Answered questions, Kept his calm.

He began speaking with the temporarily chief of the military.

Duran " I want Terrok Nor recaptured 1st"

The 1st grunted and spoke "Sir, We cannot risk it. Our forces did catch the Federation and the Klingons unprepared but we have still taken heavy losses"

Duran "The Be�l shipyard and Jem'Hader facility is to be devoted to creating a fleet to retake Terrok Nor, Understood ?"

1st "Yes sir"

*2 Hours later 2 Jem'Hader enter the room followed by a Fatral clone*

Duran looked up as they entered, He smiled that arrogant Cardassian smile and spoke in a calm and mocking voice.

Duran "Nice to have you back Fatral"

Fatral stood there blankly and nodded.

(You truly are a Jem'Hader)

Duran spoke to Fatral hoping to sound harsh.

Duran "You will read all of the logs Fatral made up to his death, You will also perform better than your predecessor.

Fatral looked up at Duran... into his eyes, sending a message that even a filthy cardassian could read. This Fatral wasn't happy about dying for Cardassia when this weak Cardassian would run...

Duran read Fatral like a book, He stood up and walked to Fatral, A fatherly expression on his face, He spoke softly.

Duran "Fatral, You need to understand this now before its to late.... Your worthless, Your scum and you mean nothing to nobody"

Duran continued in that calm cool, Arrogant fatherly voice as though he were explaining to a child that 1 + 1 = 2.

Duran "I am considerably more important than you"

Fatral stood up with aggression.

Fatral: Do not call the Jem hadar scum, we cannot be scum... only the ones that we are lead by can be called that, as we learn to live off of them, so think carefully before making any threats!

Duran smiled, He smacked Fatral in the jaw. Then laughed and spoke in a happy voice.

Duran "You are something else, No not scum your right the Jem'Hader are far from scum. They are dirt ! We build on them, We thrive from them and we spit on them"

Duran walked to his desk and sat down.

Duran continued in an arrogant yet entertained voice.

Duran "We control you, If I say jump you say how high, If I say jump off a cliff you ask me which cliff, You are scum Fatral you do the Cardassian people a disrespect. We are.... Disgraced at how patheticly weak minded you are but you have your uses.... For now"

He tapped a button on his command console and began working, He waited for Fatrals reply.

A certain rage built up in Fatral, a rage that hadn't been known to him... a controlled rage.

Fatral walked to the edge of the desk leant over and said:

Fatral: We are not as weak minded as you think... soon you will realise that, and when you do... i will be smiling and not you!

Duran tapped a button on his desk, Two Jem'Hader walk into the room, Duran stands up and walks around his desk smiling at Fatral, He speaks in a cool voice,

Duran "Lets put that to the test shall we ?"

Duran turned to the two Jem'Hader and spoke.

Duran "I dislike you two, Kill yourselves"

The Jem'Hader raise their weapons and shoot themslelves, Duran turned to Fatral.

Duran "Your right your not weak minded because you have no mind. I control everything about you"

Fatral stood there.

Fatral, just because they killed themselves proves nothing, the Jem hadar die to survive as a species not an individual... not knowing and relising that will be your undoing.

Just as Fatral finished speaking a Cardassian messanger walked into the room.

Messanger: Sir! Outpost 245 has lost communications with us as of 30 minutes ago... thats our closest outpost to Terrok Nor!

Fatral looked at Lord Duran to see what he would say to this news

Duran looked at the Cardassia and jumped to his feet, While doing so he gave Fatral a look that said ' This conversations over now follow me'.

Duran left the room while speaking to the Cardassian.

Duran "Prepare a fleet of fourty vessels, Fatral prepare the finest Jem'Hader we have at our disposal"

Duran walked through another door into a command room, Another outpost near Terrok Nor was under attack, They would last another 4 minutes.

Duran "Order them to abandon the damm outpost"

The young Cardassian looked at Duran and spoke in a typical Cardassian voice,

Cardassian "And the Jem'Hader sir ? Should the remain ?"

Duran looked at Fatral then checked something on the console, Despite how he had argued with Fatral he did care for the Jem'Hader.... Just not as much as if they were Cardassians. He looked at the Cardassian and spoke.

Duran "There are over 300 Jem'Hader on that outpost.... Order them to abandon ship. Also what is the nearest vessel we have there ?"

The Cardassian looked at Duran and spoke.

Cardassian "Sir, The Yommaka a large patrol ship, Minimal weapons max speed of warp 8 and can hold up to 568 passangers"

Duran looked at Fatral then back at the Cardassian,

Duran "Order the Yommaka to rescue all of the Cardassians, If they can they are to rescue the Jem'Hader but that is only if they can. They are not to take any risks to save them"

The Cardassian tapped several buttons.

Cardassian "The Yommaka is on its way, The Fleet of fourty vessels is ready, It is waiting for a commander and then it can proceed"

Duran looked at Fatral he spoke in a calmer voice but nevertheless it was an urgent voice.

Duran "Fatral your with me we will take command of the fleet and hopefully save all of the Cardassians and The Jem'Hader"
