PostThu Dec 15, 2005 11:09 pm    How much do you make a week?

This is for people who work part-time or full-time.

Right now I only make about $200 a week on my job. Once I get promoted to the position I want I should start receiving $300 or more a week. Luckily for me I live in my parents house and not alone so I don't have to have the problem of paying for apartment rent and other things.

I don't have a job but I tell you what Charlie makes.

On the first of each month it is #1,000 and on 15th it is $600.00

I think it is a little over a $ 1,000 on the first. Cause on the teller machine when I check the balance is little higher. Since him being a sergant he gets paid a little more. When he was a specialist he only got $900.00 on the first and $600.00 on the 15th...

We are not hurting for money. We are not rich though cause we got bills. Want any? lol

Every month, we get:

305.06 Disability Living Allowance
380-ish Income Support
120-ish Carer's Allowance
170-ish Child Tax Credits
68 Child Benefit

It's a lot (to us!), since our rent and council tax gets paid by the council. I wish I could work though, even if it meant I didn't get as much. We're also in quite a bit of debt (thank you mother!) so we're not great, but hopefully we'll get out of debt and I can start doing more of the stuff I like doing, and work on getting better

Mmmm, it depends b/c my hours always very. I make $20/hr teaching dance, and i only have one hour a week that is solidly my class, but i end up subbing quite a bit. I mean, if i am asked to sub for a night -- that can be up to 4 1/2 hrs -- almost $100! So it really varies week to week.

I also have my job at the YMCA, and so with that i end up making about $150+ a week -- it's not much, but i'm not able to work a ton w/ going to school full time and dancing too.

Ugh, i wish money grew on trees.

My Uncle Charlie pays me twenty bucks any other Saturday to watch the kids. While He takes Deb out to eat.. If that counts.

I make $240 a week before taxes, comes out to about $190 afterward, and my day job. At my inght job, I make about $300 a week, about $220 afterward.

I AM looking forward to a LARGE Tax Return next year though. Plus, my jobs, at least one of them, are extremely easy.

One is debt collections, one in sporting goods inventory. The sporting goods job consists of me answering a phone in my warehouse office, setting up orders, then when it gets slow, surfing the internet. VERY relaxed, slow job.

I'm too old for EMA, and don't qualify for ALG (Adult Learning Grant), because I get income support, or any of the disability funds, cos it's only level 3. I'd be better off staying at home in bed (but I want to pass CCNA )

I make about $240 every two weeks, so that's about $120 every week. Of course after taxes, you can take alot of that out, but it's still pretty good I suppose. After car payments and insurance, I still have some left to buy myself things, so I guess it's enough .

I don't know if this will count because it's not weekly. But my dad gives me $10 everytime he sells a baby bird, because I' am the one who feeds them and looks after them. But dad told me last night that because I have been doing a really good job the past couple of years he is going to give me $20 now! Which is really good cause that means I will be getting $80 soon
