I wouldn't be like some people and do everything I can to ensure that he is treated properly. Now if you're angry that I'm "condoning" it. Well...I think I am justified because of what the man has done. Again, I don't think that we should go out of our way to do it, but if it is being done. Then no, I won't rush over there to help him. Not to mention, the things he is complaining about are dumb. Like not being able to shave. Is it my imagination or is he not shaved in the courtroom? |
Well, there have been days between trial dates, and all that. Yeah, I don't get why anybody would be willing to overlook any kind of mistreatment at all. But, I guess that's a personal issue so it isn't really any use arguing it.

Menorahs are everywhere over here and they were all over the place in my old home of New Orleans. I've seen so many being represent especially in Texas. So I don't know what you're talking about. You're trying to punish the country for something your city is doing. Take it up with your mayor or governor. Not the President. |
Yeah, if you say so. Anyway, I simply haven't seen any in the news, etc. But then again, it is a rather liberal media, so that must be it... I don't see how anybody is trying to punish the country, but yeah, if you say so.

Its kind of hard to when someone here keeps continuing the argument...
Anyways....
It is humerous to see Saddam lash out at the court. He grows desperate as his time grows short.

Actually, it would probably be the entire post
But I agree with you, Founder. It is humorous and enlightening, actually, to see Saddam furious at the fact that he's actually facing justice for his crimes and all that. He knows that the court's not going to change, and all his argument is is that the war was/is "illegal"--which it was not--and the argument just won't fly.

Nah, if I were being mistreated I might yell at the judge to go to hell, too. I think anyone might?

He's NOT being mistreated. We've been over this. If he is, it's basically nothing. What he's angry about, CLEARLY, is the fact that he IS on trial. That is why. If you can't see it, well...

Well, yeah, I can see that he's angry about being on trial. But if he truly believes that he's being mistreated, then he has a right to be angry about it. I guess nobody here really knows if he is or isn't, anyway. It's a rather moot point, without evidence.

You have too much faith in the man, Aaron. Of that I do not understand.
He's trying to MAKE an uproar about something that is NOTHING. He's a politician and a lawyer. You know how they are--especially formerly spoiled dictators who are out of power and want to make a mockery of the trial as much as they can.

I'd rather believe him and be wrong, than not believe him and have him be right. If he really is being mistreated, than that doesn't exactly have anything good to say about the US Military (if it's they who are holding him, still).
