[Valathous]

~Alien Station~

Guillaume Latendresse walked along with the group. He couldn't help but feel somewhat unconfortable by the large beings last sentence. Reasons like that were most likely why the Hazard Team was tagging along and not simply a security detail. Guy walked near the Admiral and the Captain. Hisjob was to ensure their survival so naturally he would remain within a somewhat respectable proximity of them. He had his weapons in the buffer ready to emerge at any moment needed. While hidden in there they would not be able to be confiscated either, which was always a good thing.

[Founder]

-Alien Space Station, Hall of Statues-

Doyle nodded to Mabius and leaned over slightly.

"Don't worry about it captain," He said, "As a diplomat there is one thing you need to learn: How to nod your way through first contacts. I remember a species that kept having trouble with the universal translator. He spoke in our language and some of his. I basically nodded and prayed that I wouldn't laugh at the wrong parts or sigh in agreement. Scary how Starfleet handles these matters sometimes eh old boy?"

He laughed and continued close to the thin alien.

"Would you like to dine onboard one of our ships?" He asked warmly.

The alien gave a mysterious smile.

"Oh no," He said, "We'll dine here."

He looked back at the large group of Starfleet officers.

"There is so much to go around..." He smiled.

Jeff Connors and Gomez walked closely to Guy. He whispered to him.

"Keep your eyes opened," He said, "Something is...amiss here."

Connors walked over to Onasi, his superior officer.

"Sir?" He said, "I have a bad feeling. These feelings of mine have gotten me through 6 Dominion attacks, two Klingon, and 1 Maquis. Something is going to happen and I'm feeling exposed here..."

~Alien Space Station, Hall of Statues~

Mabius nodded. He started to take some respect for the old man, he understood where he was comming from. HE didn't serve years in the NCS and not learn anything. Mabius spoke up.

"I hope you get a chance to tour our vessel, there are many crew members that couldn't make it due to being on duty. We have various species on the ship from where we are."

[Republican_Man]

Onasi turned to Connors. Exposed? A feeling of something being amiss? "Huh," Carth said. "Intuition won't be enough to convince King Doyle"--he said the latter two words sarcastically--"to turn back. Of this I am quite sure...So be on the lookout for anything that would present a level of danger." He walked over to the Captain, whom he whispered in his ear, "Sir, Mr. Connors there"--he pointed and nodded toward him--"claims that he feels that something is...amiss, and that his feelings have proven justified in the past. He says that something is going to happen, that he feels 'exposed.' I doubt that we could convince King Doyle to leave, but I do advise caution and that we all remain on high alert for anything, Captain."

-Alien Space Station, Hall of Statues-

The alien brushed the comments aside about the ship tour.

"That is interesting," He said, "Now tell us, how many fluids are inside of your bodies?"

Doyle was taken aback by the comment. That wasn't usually asked during first contact.

"Um..." He said, "Perhaps you want to ask the medical officer we brought that..."

The alien smiled and motioned for them to enter a large room. Once everyone walked in, two more aliens standing behind the doors, slammed them shut and locked them tightly. Doyle looked around in alarm. The lead alien was continuing to smile at him.

"Please take a seat..." He offered.

~Alien Station, Big Room~

Mabius had taken notice of Onasi's concerns. He told him to spread the word for all of the security to descretly put their weapons on heavy stun.

"That is interesting," He said, "Now tell us, how many fluids are inside of your bodies?"


Mabius went pale. His heart started to race. He took a few breaths and notices a young man next to him. It was guy, but he did not yet know his name. Mabius stood so the aliens couldnt see what Guy and Mabius were doing.

"Your hand phaser please, and set your rifle on the heaviest stun you can."

~Alien Space Station~

Guy turned to face Captain Mabius who had asked him for his hand phaser. One thing that Guy never liked to do was relinquish his weapons but he figured in this situation another armed officer couldn't hurt. Guy had overheard Connors' concerns and agreed with them. Guy pushed a button on his buffer belt and a hand phaser discretely appeared. He set it to maximum stun and handed it to Captain Mabius.

"I can't exactly change the setting on my rifle, sir," Guy started, "It's in my hazard buffer belt. If I remove it they will notice I'm suddenly arming myself with a large rifle out of no where. It's currently set to kill, actually..."

Mabius nodded. Maybe kill would end up being appropiate.

"Understood, hate to have done this to you."

Mabius studied Guy for a second. Something told him it was good he was there.

"Good to have you here with us ensign."

Mabius nodded as he tucked his phaser away, then turned towards the tabel and smiled.

"Sorry about that, I hadn't had a chance to meet the entire crew yet, and realized one of them is standing there."

Mabius went over to the Admiral. He whispered in his ear so only he could hear.

"Sir, something goes down, I want you to hit the floor."

~USS Gaia, Bridge~

THe Helm officer was in the captain's chair, going over some read outs.

One day on the job, and the bridge is already in my command.

A voice spoke up.

"Sir, we have just been scaned several times in a row, all scanns seem to orgionate from the station."

The officer in charge looked up to the view screen.

"Their only curiouse..... I hope."

-Alien space station, Large chamber-

The Arch motioned for everyone to sit. Doyle nodded his head to Mabius but had no intention of doing so. Just becase he was older, doesn't mean he was decripit yet. He took a seat and looked around the room. It was so cold inside that it chilled Doyle to the bone. Hideous statues of skeletons...or what looked to be skeletons were all over the walls. Images of almost...demonic looking creatures were painted as well. Perhaps they found this to be beautiful? Who was Doyle to judge. Once everyone sat down, the Arch smiled and stood at the head of the table.

"It has been some time since we've gained visitors," He said with a wide grin, "Our reputation apparently...precedes us."

Doyle chuckled and tilted his head in curiosity.

"Oh?" He asked, "And what kind of reputation is that?"

The Arch looked at others of his kind and laughed.

"Oh....scurrilous lies!" He hissed, "They say that we are decievers! That we lure people into our space with our...hospitatlity..."

Doyle and some of the other captain's laughed politely.

"Wasn't too hard to lure you all here was it?" He said, "Then again, you're new here. If you knew about us...maybe you wouldn't have come here..."

Doyle grew really uncomfertable with what he was saying. It didn't seem like a joke anymore...

"They say that we mask our appearance to make our hospitality seem even more inviting. That we make those who come here more comfertable..." He continued, his voice slowly becoming deeper, "Finally...they say that we show our true forms right before we eat the "soul" of all those we trap..."

The Vulcan Captain rose an eyebrow.

"A...colorful story." He commented neutrally.

The Arch nodded his head and gripped the skull on his cane. His fingers almost twitching.

"That story is completely untrue." He said.

Doyle sighed inwardly in relief, but too soon.

"We don't eat "Souls"," He laughed, but suddenly his voice changed to an ugly hiss, "We drain you of your fluids and drink that...."

Doyle watched to see if he was joking. Some species form of humor was crude.... He had seen it before, but they never gave such a strange feeling. Connors reached slowly towards the patter buffer on his belt. Loud locks could be heard on the door and the Arch, his aides and two guards surrounded the officers at the large table. Doyle stood up in alarm.

"What the bloody hell is this!?" He demanded.

The Arch threw his head back and laughed histerically. When his head came forward it was completely different. It was...hidious compared to human standards. Doyle had seen many aliens, but none that really disturbed him. He was taken aback by their change in appearance.



"Whats wrong Admiral?" He said, "Surprised?

His voice lost the warm quality to it and became this evil hiss like voice. All of their appearances suddenly changed. Connors immediatly activated the buffer and yanked out a phaser rifle. He stood and ran right into one of the guards.



Connors gasped and lifted his phaser rifle, but before he could the Wa'lath flung his fist right through Connor's chest. He screamed in pain and the clenched fist, now sticking out of his back, lifted him into the air. The other security and hazard team officers from the various ships jumped up in alarm and pulled out their phasers. Chaos ensued...

~Alien Station, Large Room~

Mabius jumped up with his phaser out. He fired at the alien that had punched though the officer. The stunn had no effect. Mabius Turned the power up and was about to fire when one came near him. Mabius turned and fired in the Aliens face, and when the alien flew back, Mabius turned his phaser up again. Mabius saw the alien he shot get up. He fired again, the alien went down and was atempting to move. Mabius turnes his phaser up yet again and fired, finaly killing the alien. Mabius stole a glace at the power settings. Almost full. He screamed in a battle rage.

"Phasers to full power!!!"

Mabius fired at the alien that was his first target again.

[Founder]

-Alien Station, Large Room-

Doyle tapped his combadge.

"Away team to Gaia," He screamed, "Emergency transport!!!!"

There was no response. The Arch smiled at Doyle and revealed his sharp fangs.

"They can't hear you," He said, "Not now...not ever. Only we can hear you...."

Doyle rushed to the door and tried to force them open, but they didn't budge.

"All of you crews in total....1155," The Arch said to no one, "1155 bodies. All ours...."

Doyle tore the skull off of one statue.

"The hell they are!" He screamed.

He threw it with as much force as possible at the Arch. The Arch caught it with quick reflexes and crushed it in his hand.

"I look forward to draining an Admiral from the United Federation of Planets..." He said.

He slowly made his way towards the Admiral while everyone else was occupied. Doyle was backed up against a wall...

Crewlounge, Kitchen
Suddenly Ayira entered the Kitchen. She had her eyes closed and was dressed in white cloths and she humms a strange song. Suddenly, the song stopped.

"I know you're here Jake.. I'm Telephatic, you were searching for me.."

She said, still with her eyes closed. Jake, who didn't know what to say just nodded, but Ayira didn't payed attention to it. She was in some kind of trance.

"The Wa'lath.. No, it can't be.. Captain in danger.. must help..."

She said, having troubles with her breath. Suddenly, she tumbled to the ground. Jake who didn't thought that would happen rushed to the com-menu on the wall.

"Crewlounge to Sickbay, Medical Emergency!"

He said trough the com. He waited for a response.

~Alien Space Station, Dracula's Lair~

Even if Guy had seemed suspicious of the aliens before hand, he was still shocked after they revealed themselves to be creatures that one would refer to as a Vampire back on Earth. Guy watched in horror as his commanding officer, Commander Connors, was impaled by a fist.

Guy got to his feet from sitting in the chair as quickly as possible. He picked up his chair and threw it hard at the closest alien being to him. The force of the chair sent the alien sprawled to the ground in pain. Guy pressed a button on his pattern buffer belt and his phaser rifle materialized in his hands. He ran to the alien he had knocked down and slammed the butt-end of the rifle into its face as hard as he could. Needless to say, his skull collapsed.

Guy turned his head and noticed something. The Arch was closing in on Admiral Doyle. In fact, he was right next to him. Far too close for Guy to rely on his aim hitting the Arch and not Admiral Doyle. Guy went to a sprint, he had to do a quick mid-run pivot on one foot, doing a 360 degree turn to avoid a punch by another of the aliens. Guy landed the quick pivot in which he was slightly airborn and continued his mad dash until finally diving through the air and giving the Arch a hard blind-side tackle a mere several inches from the Admiral.

-USS Gaia, Sickbay-

Rex rose an eyebrow. He tapped his combadge and responded to Jake.

"Where?" He asked.

He looked at the MHH.

"Get ready," He said, "My nurse left, so I may need your assistance."

-Alien Station, Large Room-

The Arch slid across the slick ground from the hit. Doyle watched in alarm. The Hazard team officer sure did pack a punch. He rushed over to the dead body of Connors and took the phaser rifle.

"Sorry," He muttered, "But you won't be needing this anymore..."

He lifted his phaser rifle and fired at the Arch. The alien rolled out of the way and hid behind the pillars. Doyle looked over at Guy.

"Ensign!" He ordered, "Get those doors open!!!"

~Alien Space Station~

Mabius fired at a nearby alien, killing it as he was only a couple feet away. Mabius went to a nearby statue, and picked up a spear that had fallen in the chaos. He turned and trew it at an alien who came at him just right so that his head was taken off by the spear. Mabius went to the door and looked for a lock. He found it. It was a inside the door, aside from the mechinism that was on the outside that controled the lock. Needless to say, Arch had done something to the lock so that the door was locked, and the mechinism broken. Mabius picked up another spear and turned it so the flat end faced the Admiral.

"Admiral!"

Mabius laid the speer on the ground and threw it to Doyle. Mabius turned and fired on several aliens, who despite his phaser settings, they seemed to shake the attacks off.

[Founder]

-Alien space station, Large Room-

Doyle caught the spear in time for the Arch to rush at him. Doyle jammed it into the Arch's stomach. The Arch could only stare defiantly and grab the middle of the spear. He slid it into his stomach even more.

"When you have no fluids to lose," He said, "It doesn't hurt as much..."

The Arch then broke the spear in half and batted the admiral across the face. He fell to the ground, a streak of blood from his mouth.

-USS Gaia, Sickbay-

Rex looked over at the MHH.

"Lets see how good you really are," He said, "Transfer yourself to the messhall and help."

He grabbed a medical kit and beamed it to the messhall.

~Alien Space Station, Large Room~

Mabius had used the disratction to get close to Arch. He came up behind Arch with an Axe like tool, and swung it into his back. The Arch wailed as the axe went into his flesh, stricking the bone. Mabius pushed harder, which pushed the Arch to the corner several feet away. Mabus pulled on doyle to a door where the Starfleet officers were starting to gather, so that no one person was gonna be one on one with these.... things. These... Wal'aths..

~Alien Space Station, Death Room~

Guy shakes his head in annoyance. The Admiral yells at him to open the door when Guy is a more capable fighter to help protect the others. The fool. Guy looks at the doors and runs at them shoulder first and hit them hard. They didn't budge but Guy winced as they stayed firmly still. He set his phaser to vapourize and fired. Still nothing. Finally, after a moment of thinking he rigged his phaser to overload and slide the nozzle through the handle of the door and walked away from it. It exploded placing a hole in the door where the handle and lock were.

Guy grabbed a phaser rifle and hand phaser off the bodys of 2 dead Starfleet security officers from the Intrepid class ship. He placed the hand phaser on his belt rather than in the buffer this time and held the phaser rifle, which he set to vapourize.

"The door's open, Admiral!" Guy yelled to Doyle.

Guy saw Ensign Gomez, he was in trouble just on the other side of the table. Guy ran, jumped up on the table, pushed of hard and while in mid air he drew on leg back and then kicked it forwards hard, connecting with the head of the alien about to kill Gomez. Guy turned and fired his rifle as another of the aliens was behind him. It dropped with a hole in its stomach. With the two being in the clear for a moment, Guy extended his arm and helped Ensign Gomez to his feet.

[Uss_Voyager]

-USS Gaia, Sickbay-

"Ok" Said Marvin as he thought about the messhall and he appeared in the messhall.

"Hello, all righty" Marvin then rushed over to the girl and grabbed the medical kit, Marvin then opened it and got the tricorder out and scanned Ayira.

Marvin then spoke: "Ahh i know just what she needs, this happens all the time to betazoids."

Marvin then thought about transporting her to sickbay, and transfering himself to sickbay. And it happend Ayira was on the main biobed and i was standing beside her.

I then rushed to the replicator and said: "Ok I Need aloe vera, gol herb, aplha herb, apricot seeds and relaxation equitment."
All these items then appeared in the replicator.

Marvin then crushed the alovera in a mixer and then went back to Ayira. I Rubbed the alovera juice in some places on her neck, chest and nose.

Marvin then rushed back to the mixer and put in the aplha herb, apricot seeds and the gold herb and mixed them all togethor, it then made a paste. Marvin then grabbed the relaxation equitment.
I then walked back to her and then opened the relaxtation kit and then put a eyeset over her eyes and covered her ears with a towel. Marvin then serached through the database in his head and played some music. And lastly masarged the mixed paste onto her face that he had just mixed.

Marvin while still masarging the paste on her face said to Rex: "Dont Worry She will be fine, this happens alot to betazoids and most doctors cant fix it but i can the key is "Relaxation"."

Before Jake could react to the strange man, in a battle suit, it was already gone again, taking Ayira with him.

"What the..."

He muttered. He hoped Sickbay had her, otherwise he would have to organise the Party in his own. Then, his mind filled up with a great idea. He rushed out of the Kitchen, to the doors of the crewlounge. He noticed that a female officer sits in the Crewlounge. He stopped and looked at her. The girl was not older then 30. He hoped she could help him.

"Uhm, excuse me.. Can you tell me were the Holodeck is?"

The girl giggled and stand up.

"Follow me, big boy.. I'm Jasmine."

The girl said. They started to talk and Jake wondered why she was so nervous. After a short walk they stopped by 2 large doors.

"Here it is..." She said. "If you can, come to my quarters tonight... Then i will make some diner for you.."

Jasmine said, blushing a little bit. Jake noticed that he was blushing to.

"Uh.. okay..."

He said to her. Jasmine nodded and she walked away. Jake stared to her, thinking: Why must i always say yes... He then turned around, and entered the Holodeck. He walked to the control panel, and typed some commands. Then he looked to nothing in particulair and says

"Computer, lock Holodeck 4 and activate program Jake Alpha 1"

A beep sounded and a large Kitchen appeard with various cooks looking to Jake.

Cook: "You're orders?"

A fat cook asked to him. Jake explained what was the reason that he came here, and all the cooks nodded. They were going to help him with the Party. He asked the computer to ransport the various ingredi�nts needed for the food, and a few moments later, all the cooks were working to make food. Good, as long as Ayira is by the doctor, these cooks can help me. He smiled and look's around.

[Uss_Voyager]

-USS Gaia, Sickbay-

A couple of moments later of more masarging, Ayira awoke.

Marvin spoke; "Relax, you had a fall, just lay and relax, take a deep breath in 1. 2. 3. 4. 5 and out 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. You are on a beach with the waves rolling up your feet and then heading back out to see, breathe in 1. 2. 3. 4. 5 and out 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Marvin then repetead it while he masarged her face.

1 thing marvin didnt intend to say was why she was in sickbay.

-Alien Space Station, Large Room-

Doyle stumbled up the steps with Mabius. A hole had been opened in the door. The officers were pouring through it, escaping the vampiric aliens. The Human and Bolian captain lay dead on the floor. Well....what is left of them. Their skin was extremly dried and cracked. All of their internal fluids drained. These things were monsters! Doyle bent over and stepped through the hole in the door. To his horror he saw a completely different hall. Millions of the Wal'aths were crawling along the walls. It was a horrifying sight to behold. He tapped his combadge.

"Away team to Gaia!!!" He screamed, "Emergency beam out!!!"

~USS Gaia, Transporter Room~

Mabius looked around and gained his bearings. He suddenly ran for the door and entered into a nearby turbolift.

"Bridge"

~USS Gaia, Bridge~

The officer in charge wasted no time.

"Get us out of here, set course for the wormhole."

The officer at the helm nodded and went to work. Suddenly the ship lurched foward and to the side, but it did not move. The Red aleart sirens went off. The officer in charge spoke up.

"Report"

A voice replied.

"The docking latch, there's some sort of magnitic field keeping us here. Sir! Sensors report someone is trying to force their way onto the ship!"

The ship lurched again as the helm officer tried to move the ship. Then Mabius ran on the bridge. THe officer in charge went to his seat at Helm.

"Report!"

THe Helm Officer replied to Mabius.

"The ship is stuck on the docking latch of the station, someone is trying to force their way in the ship"

Mabius sat in his chair.

"Lock phasers on the docking latch of the station"

A consol behind Mabius beeped. A voice spoke.

"Ready sir."

Mabius looked at the screen, his eyes narrowed.

"Fire."

The consol chirped again as the phasers fired. The ship jolted again, and drifted away from the station. They were free. The other ships had already done the same and warped off.

"Set course for the wormhole, Maximum warp."

"Aye sir."

The helm Officer entered the command. Gaia took off for the 'Bridge' at warp 9.9+. An officer spoke up.

"Sir, there are sections of the station breaking up. Almost like ships, reading evidence of pursit."

Mabius sighed and griped the arms of his chair. He looked out at the viewscreen to see the streaming stars comming at the ship.

Just a few more minutes...

Mabius taped an intership com line. His voice rang out thougout the entire ship.

"This is the Captain, All hands.... Battle stations."

Mabius then turned off the comline.

[Uss_Voyager]

-USS Gaia, Sickbay-

Marvin heard the alert and sirens went off.

Marvin then stopped masarging her face and walked away and then washed his hands in the medical basin.

Marvin then spoke to Rex: "She will sleeping for another couple of hours, it is for the best, so now we can get ready for any medical emergancy"
