PostMon Dec 12, 2005 5:15 am    Star Trek Trilogy?

I have an idea for the next three Star Trek movies. I'm sure a lot of people will hate it but here goes. There is a huge debate amongst the Star Trek fandom at which series gets to take their journey to the big screen. TOS and TNG days are over. The debate is for a DS9, VOY, ENT, or someone "new" movie. Now what about an idea to give a send off to DS9, VOY, and ENT? It would be a trilogy and each one would get their own movie. The trilogy would of course be connected. The problem would carry through to each series....

It would begin with ENT. Yes ENT. Now before you get angry at me and flip out at an ENT movie, I think they deserve it. Some kind of problem would emerge. I'm thinking a very powerful being is close to escaping his "non-corporeal prison" and will wreak havoc on the galaxy. Perhaps it is even the fault of the ENT crew? I don't know. It may make the show even more hated. I dont want that. I think they deserve a good send off though. Somehow they try to stop the being from escaping, but are unable to. The evil being using his slowly strengthening powers manipulates a powerful species into stopping the ENT crew. The ENT crew thwarts them somehow in the gratuitous space fight scene we need. It is revealed, by (someone power but good), that only one being can stop the malovelant being and that being has yet to be born. They have to ensure that person is born or the galaxy will be left in the hands of this evil being. So they manage to set the stage for the person's birth and can only wait....

The movie ends there...

The next movie jumps to the 24th century and we look into the lives of the VOY crew. We see into their lives for about a half hour into the movie. Something the VOY fans want. Then they would see Chakotay still with Seven and end this horrible lie of J/Cers .(JOKE) Anyways...this powerful being is freed and begins to wreak havoc upon the galaxy. He had a personal vendetta against all living beings for being imprisoned there. All of his back history would be explained in ENT. The being is furious for being locked away for so long and unleashes a catalyismic horror. Meanwhile he is still using the "bad guy" species and orders them to attack the Federation. The VOY crew join together onboard the Voyager and try to figure out a way to thwart this...being. I'm thinking something dastric happens. Maybe the destruction of Earth? The VOY crew are unable to stop the being and must find a solution to all of this. The same mysterious being from ENT reappears and tells them it is time to stop that evil being. He sends them to the Delta Quadrant, picking them since they know the most about it, to do something to ensure the "saviour" can return.(Im sorry but a VOY movie without SOMETHING Delta quadrant is DUMB) He returns them to the Alpha and are led to a familiar wormhole....

The movie ends there...

It begins with Deep Space Nine now. Colonel Kira leads the station and heard about the news of Earth's destruction. She is of course worried about Chief O'Brien who left for Earth and Ambassador Worf. Both reappear on the station on a shuttle that fled Earth.(i know, a plot convience, but hey...its a Star Trek movie) Garak also returns to the station after Cardassia was attacked as well. So they see the USS Voyager appear at the wormhole. A confused Janeway tells Kira that she was told that it would "end here". The evil being traces everyone there and realizes that a threat is emerging. He sends a fleet of the "bad guy aliens" to attack. Kira orders Worf and a few others to the Defiant to go to the Gamma to get help. Meanwhile it cuts to the Mysterious being going into the Celestial temple and talking to the Prophets to help. They say they wont and dont care for the problems of corporeals. Then an unknown voice says "I'll do it..." it cuts back to the fleet attacking DS9 and VOY. While the evil being is trying to close the wormhole permanently. Kira faces the being and tries to stop him from it, while Nog tries to strengthen the wormholes stability. The station and Voyager is about to be destroyed by the overwhelming forces when suddenly the wormhole opens and a MASSIVE fleet of Dominion ships pour through. They are being led by Odo and new clone of Weyoun(he didn't deserve to die!!! ) The evil being manages to close the wormhole and defeat Kira. She is near death as he stands triumphantly over her body. The being believes he has stopped his only "equal". He plans on destroying all of existence. The fight ended in the Bajoran Shine on the station and suddenly all the Bajoran orbs(which have been found) glow in a brilliant light and a figure appears at the door. It is none other than...Benjamin Sisko. The two fight it out and their fight takes them all the way into the Celestial temple. It looks different from the damage the evil being did to it, more chaotic. Sisko, with the help of the Prophets, manage to stop evil being. He is "killed"? Then the msyterious being that has been helping all of the others appears and says that his "death"? has brought peace to the galaxy and most imporantly...the future. He undoes all the damage the evil being has done and admits to being none other than Q. He says the Q locked the being away millions of years ago, but it took the concentrated effort of all the Continuuim to do it. The evil being, upon his release, sealed the continuuims ability to enter the "normal universe" thus stopping his only opposition or so he thought. Q himself was not trapped because he was not in the Contiuim when it happened. Q congradulates humanity on proving they are more than primitive monkeys and says that perhaps they will be worthy to join the other powerful species...one day. The Prophets say that Sisko's task is done and allow him to return to his life. He resigns his commision and lives with Kassidy, Jake, and the new baby on Bajor. But not before overseeing Bajor's entry into the Federation...

Ok thats my idea. TONS of flaws. Feel free to pick it apart. Its just my idea that maybe fair to all of the shows. Then after this, a Romulan war movie can be made.

Flaws? Seven and Chakotay together. That is a joke bad one... Don't see that one will happened.... When I get through home school my kids today, I will put some ideas up. Not saying yours is bad just one thing, in first sentence that I wrote.

Hey, not bad. I like it over all. You should definately bring Sisko in earlier in the DS9 movie though.

Leo Wyatt? The Chakotay and Seven thing was a JOKE. As I had stated in the paragrpah. The movie will not focus on VOY relationships. No one wants to see a movie where a Captain falls in love with an officer who is like 20 years younger than her. If you like that stuff go see How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The movie is about much more.

luit14 I agree with that suggestion, but I wanted Sisko's appearance to be almost....mythical and heroic. Him appearing out of no where at the last second is cool. Do you have any ideas on him coming earlier?

This is a GREAT idea, a trilogy set of movies, with differnt crews, but the same sort of problem is really coold. This would connect them even more, besides a few refernces that happen here and there. I like the idea of something starting in the 2150's, and not ending untill Sisko defeats the being in the 2380's. I see tons of potential in this idea, while as Andy him self said it would need to be fixed up, the potential idea, is something that Star Trek needs. I see nothing wrong with the Seven/Chakotay part, as that waas established in season seven . It would allow ENT to have a movie, which ended prematurly, deniying the GREAT actors their series, and a VOY/DS9 movie, which the fans, respectfuly have been asking for. This should be a differnt Q though, because we all know that if John De Lanci is on the screen as a Non-Corpeal Being, we know it's Q . Maybe not really a Q at all? but another powerful Non-Corpeal being, Star Trek already did an ep with a Q being locked up, it was a Voy ep no less. These are my thoughts on this part, what does everyone eles think?

As a matter of fact, I do.
I think I read that when the prophets say they won't do anything you hear a voice say: "I'll take care of it" or something like that. You should have that be Sisko and then you can have him step out of the white or whatever. And bring him in from there.
Edit: oh wait, I just went back and read it and that's pretty much what it is. I'll get back to you on that.
Edit (again): Yeah, you could just have him step out of the white when he says I'll do it. That would be really heroic. And then when he steps out you could have that classic Star Trek hero mucic. Bum Bum Buuuum!

Not bad. Interesting idea...but, it's missing something. A BIG something...I don't know what, but it's something. Definitely time for those movies. Now, what's the point in sending Voyager to the DQ? There wasn't one given...and as long as they're secured a way home, then NONE of us want to see them back there...And a Voyager movie without the DQ isn't weird.

and if you sent them to the DQ, then I'm assuming by them being at DS9 in the 3rd movie, they were brought back...right? it's a little confusing, but if Trek were to do it, then they could fix all the flaws... but not a bad idea.

And ENT doesn't need a movie. They already screwed up Trek as it is...but, if it's the ONLY way to do the trilogy, then we're stuck with them.

Didn't end prematurely. The series didn't start getting good until the final season anyway, and then I heard that the finale SUCKED anyway.

Great actors? To whom are you referencing? I wouldn't call any of them GREAT. Slightly decent...that's pushing it.

I am liking this idea. For some reason it seems to be "All Good Things", "Where Silence had Lease" and "The Reckoning" all put into one (With vaiouse other epiosdes of course)

I must admit thought it doesnt seem to be that clear about Voyager going into the Delta Quadrant, but your right Voyager wouldnt be Voyager without a bit of the DQ lol.

But one of the things you missed out was General Martok! or should i say chanellor martok. He needs to be in it somehow.

With the big end fight scene i would say there would have to me more too it though otherwise it would be a bit like the early DS9 fight seens and we dont really want that. I would probably say have the Bajorans scramble there fleet (like see saw in "Shadows & Symbols") plus with voyager being there it would be set at least 3 years after DS9 ended so bajor would have a few more ships. Plus i think a random starfleet ship should be in it. Maybe the Lakota from "Paradise Lost"

But all in all i think this is excellent. I loved how you fitted in Kira fighting the evil being. Nice touch.

I would like to hear a little bit more on the ENTERPRISE part of it though.

I have to disagree. Voyager wouldn't be Voyager without the crew together. That would make Voyager not Voyager. They don't need the DQ to be Voyager.

Just the crew being back together and on board the ship would bring back the flare that you're talking about! Voyager and new enhancements...all the flare we need! And the crew together on their old posts, of course!

I agree with VOYAGER2004 here, i know I'm new but it sounds good, I think it would be really good with a few flaws removed.

In light of the news of the next ST movie, I wanted to post in here again. I find it ironic that the great debate of which show would get picked next is over. TOS wins apparently. It uses its popularity to squash the other shows...

I don't like this. How are you gonna have someone else play the parts of the original characters? Just doesn't make sense to me. But maybe they have something else in mind.

It really does sound good. I like it. You've got promise, kid Now, the only problem is actually getting Paramount to implement such an idea, but guess what? They wouldn't
Too bad, though. This one has a good deal of potential and is far better than the current Trek plan.

I think this is a good idea. Perheps the need to return to the DQ is to get Neleex. I don't know what role he would actually play, but maybe the DQ was attacked first and he has the info to help VOY.

In this Star Trek: Voyager trilogy, the crew of Voyager discover a region of space that has been used for experiments by the Nacene, the race responsible for their presence in the Delta Quadrant in the first place. Having discovered a space station containing various information about the Nacene, the crew learn that the Caretaker, Suspiria, and numerous other Nacene are exiles, living away from their people as a punishment for tampering with the cosmic strings that the universe consists of; the other Nacene believe it is a sacred duty to care for the strings.
