Thanks! That looks great

The one thing is that between her arm and her waist, there shouldn't be anything, but I love the colors!

And z-i-p-p-y, I'll get the pics, I just need to find the stinkin camera

Ah...Understandable, but it still rocks

Annnd...More pics! Finally! (they're too big, so I just linked 'em)

My favorite:

Gothic woman Gothic Woman close up

And a doodle I did today:

Lace up

I also have a few 'blank' images, just outlines, of some of Voyager's crew if you want to tinker with them

That veil is cool!

How dare you draw a doodle and make it come out like that! *cries*
If thats a doodle what should I call my drawings?

Can I have Deanna in her wedding dress to colour in? Please?
Or T'Pol in her wedding dress? That was pretty!

I call them doodles because I did them in one shot, and they're just sketches. A finished piece for me is a composition that is matted. That's what I get for being in my studio art class for so long...

Hm...The blank ones I have are just the Voyager crew right now. I can try and find some pictures of T'Pol and Deanna in their wedding dresses and try and draw them, but I don't know when I'll be able to get that done.

Matted means that that it's framed with a white mat board.

Oooh! That's pretty!

Not on the computer yet. I'm getting some stuff back from school (that's where I've been doing a lot of my art). I've got that 20's style drawing/scratch board that was inspired by the stuff on Doll on the Hill. I did an oil pastel of angel fish, I did a chalk and charcoal of a teddy bear, just finished a really awesome chalk and charcoal piece of my eyes.

Most of it is still at school though o.O

I have about 100 to contribute to this topic, but I'll have to wait till I get them scanned and photobucket-ed, I don't even have a scanner yet!

They're all just heads, though, and very few have shoulders and necks. But I'm pretty proud of them, I think they're okay!

I'll be back in about a year, when I'm ready to post them!

LOL! Bad z-i-p-p-y

I borrowed the idea for the Mucha-inspired drawing from DotH Factory. So it's already been borrowed once. Most of these are done from prompts by my art teacher. So far we've had:

A picture from the POV looking down at yourself.
Shoes (at least 2, don't have to match)
A toy (especially and older one)
A scratchboard piece
Fish (colorful!)
A self portrait (done from a unique angle - I just did my eyes)

The next one we have to do wearable art. I was planning on sewing a very classic evening gown over winter break anyways. I'm thinking I'll just spice it up with some nice lace and make it all unique and stuff ^.^

And yeah. I'll post pics. Eventually.

ooo Those sound interseting to do I'm not sure what a scratchboard is.

That sounds yummy! Ooo I love fabric paint! Thats always good for doing neat little designs on. I use it in my book to do titles and frame things, It's all shiney!

Hey when the sales start you can buy some decorations, they are always good for sewing into things!

Scratchboard is a white board that has a black sheen on it, and you can scratch off the black to show the white. Very pretty!

Yeah, I'm gonna try and get to the fabric store soon. I'm thinking of getting a bunch of lace and cutting it up, then sewing it on again all pretty and stuff

Fabric paint is nice, but from what I remember of it I wouldn't like to do much with it artisticly. Too clunky. But that's just me

That picture of TrekkieMage's, I think who did it, but was colored in by Zippy, looks REALLY neat! I like that...

Oooh, so much talent around this topic.

I'm too lazy to get any of my drawings onto my computer, though, so I can't share them with you.

No idea what that is...

Captain Dappet: Thanks and you aren't the only one who's too lazy to get your stuff up online. I've got a b&w teddy bear, scratchboard, and a few other things that I haven't put up yet. But when you do get around to it, post 'em! I'd love to see them.

Oh, for my next art project (the wearable art thing), she's gonna make us actually wear it, so I think I'm gonna pass on the evening gown. I'm gonna spiff up my jean jacket instead. I'll post what I'm gonna do to it later. I'm really exited about it ^.^

Yesterday (well, two days ago technically) I was up in NY (big Christmas gift, yay!) and I visited the FIT Fashion Museum. I've got several neat ideas/challenges now

A client proposal is like a presentation of your art work to send off and to sell to people and stuff... I think I have to write one, oh well I'll write it all wrong and make them correct it!

Ooo we need a before and after!

*waits* *goes insane* *dances with Data* *waits*

Ah! I get it now

Yeah, right now it's just a plain jean jacket. I'm going to start painting it tomorrow *ack* I always hate starting something because I'm so afraid I'll mess up. But once I get going I'm fine. But I'll certainly post pics when I'm done. I have a bunch of stuff I need to get on the computer, but I'm contemplating purchasing a scanner so I might wait a bit
