I am rather ashamed of my country's response to the memorial of Pearl Harbor Day (which was yesterday). There was a little article in a local news paper on the front page. It was 3 lines long, hidden under "Route 31 under construction" and "Seniors name new street".
Am I the only one who is so disappointed in America for that?
What were your local papers like?
I went back and forth between Fox and CNN yesterday for about 10 hours and didn't find a single thing about pearl harbor day.

Thank you... It's great to see that someone else remembered 12/7. Let us never forget.

Agreed, lest we forget the Men and Women of Pearl Harbor.

I am surprised that it wasn't mentioned more obviously. I haven't been very observant to what day it is (the weeks have just been rolling past...) so I'm afraid I completely missed it.
I hope that what happened on December 7th will always be remembered and honored. And hopefully more people will take note of it so that those who aren't paying attention don't miss it.

Forgive my cynical attitude, but after the big 50th anniversary, America usually forgets stuff until the 75th rolls around, then 100th.
