eBay is the place to go for cheap trek dvds. The stores will never have them cheaper than ebay. Although a lot of people get screwed and end up with the asian edition dvds, although they think they're getting the us version. So if you're planning on getting trek dvds, get them on ebay and watch out for the asian editions, which usually are inferior in quality.

The only problem is... All the series here are roughly the same price around 120 - 130 per season.

How do you tell the difference between the two?
I hope to be able to get them all one day! I'm still working on collection Voyager, so it's on my soon-to-be list...
You don't have to pay sales taxes in Oregon...the down part is they have high-property taxes because of it...

Hell, yes! These things are freaking EXPENSIVE! I bought my Season One from Amazon.com for $50...free shipping was a nice touch...I just got it last week...
Well, back to the point...on Amazon.com, for the Seasons 1-3, they cost roughly $51 a piece...Seasons 4-7 cost about $120-135!!! Crazy!!! I mean...the show is almost twenty years old...it ended in '94, right? I would expect them ALL to be about $50...Ugh!
I plan to get 'em all...but that is going to cost about $600 bucks!!! Whatever...I am a devoted fan...I'll get 'em all.
Just a side note...I can't find any of them at the store. Darn...
Another side note...All of the other Star Trek boxed sets cost a bundle, too...if not more. TOS costs more than TNG!

I suggested to the 40th Anniversary site on the Star Trek Website that they offer all all the sets for $40/season as a promotion for the 40th Anniversary. I suspect that won't go over so well, but it was worth a try. I also put in that other TV series seasons are offered for only 30-40 dollars a set... only Star Trek is so high.

On Amazon.com...why won't the TNG sets (4-7) go down to #50 like 1-3? I mean, DS9 Season 1 costs $50 and it was made two years after TNG 4...come on!!! I want to be able to buy all of TNG and DS9 but not if the prices are this ridiculous. I only get about $10 bucks a week...darn...yeah...I still have an allowance. No job. They won't let me. I used to work at a stable...yeah...that didn't work out. $3 an hour!?! Crazy!
