Looking for a fanfic - please help!

Augh! I just tonight remembered a Star Trek fanfic that's absolutely hilarious, and that I have the urge to reread ... NOW. But I can't find it anywhere! It was written from the point of view of one of those "extra" crew members, who always get killed off if they go down to the planet with the Away Team, or whose console gets blown up and kills them, etc. I thought it was called, or written by, "Ensign Expendable," but googling that doesn't work. It's not a new fic; it was years ago that I first read it.

Does anyone know the story I'm talking about, and can anyone help me find it?
