This is a legitmate topic don't lock it!!
Now in the NBA I am really excited to see some teams that were bad last year play good or way better this year.
One Example of the a bad team last year and good team this year is the LA Clippers, my all time favorite team. They currently number 1 in the west which is not surprising because they have 2 good additional players to their roster. That would be Cutino Mobley and Sam Cassell.
To break it down how the team works out.
Elton Brand the power forward is the shot blocker, rebounder, and close up scorer.
Chris Kaman the center is the shot blocker, rebounder.
Corey Maggette the Small Forward is their dunker, layup shooter, and mid-range shooter.
Cuttino Mobley is the 3 point shooter, and mid-range shooter.
Sam Cassell is the layup shooter, 3 point shooter, passer, and mid-range shooter.
Quinton Ross is the rebounder, mid-range shooter, and shot blocker.
Now the team overall with this line-up has an almost perfect team because they have guys who can shoot really well and consistantly. The team now compared to last year is more defensive and offensive so they have a larger chance to finally making it to the playoffs. They will be I think the number 1 team in the west.

What your favorite NBA team and why are they your favorite?

There have been a few Clippers teams in the past five years that were full of All-Star talent, but there was never a coach that could get them to win together.
My team is the Toronto Raptors, but I'm pissed because in the last 7 years they've traded Steve Christie, Tracey McGrady, and of course their best player ever Dr. Funk (Vince Carter).
So now I kinda root for the Nets because I still really like Vince.

The Clippers are 6-2 making them the number 1 team in the western division. Whoo!!!!!!!11
I think the reason they are winning is because Sam Cassell & Corey Maggette have been on fire from the mid-range shots. Also the rookie Daniel Ewing is one fantastic ballhandler.
The other LA team the Lakers are going to suck this year because the players they have are not good enough except for Odom and Bryant who by the way does 70% of all scoring.
Now I think the Lakers need to trade Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown for better players like Primoz Brezec and Mike Dunleavy or even Troy Murphy.

The Detriot Pistons is the number 1 team in the NBA because they ahve strong defense.
I am angry at the fact the Clippers lost yesterday but it was a big possibility because they played minnesota just the other day in the afternoon then have to fly to cleveland to play in the afternoon again the next day. They were just tired.

Toronto is my favorite too. Although I don't really like the nba. There is no teamwork and the some of the players are immature, overpaid babies. The NBA is simply a league of extreme talent and I don't enjoy watching it.

Sixers, my home team. Im glad to see that Iverson isnt carrying them as much this year. A lot of the other guys have stepped up more so far this season.
