I think that the economy, the failure in Iraq, foreign alliances (or lack thereof), and the president's approval rating speak for themselves. Bush is and has been doing a poor job. The world said so and now the American people have awoken.. most of them anyway.

Economy's going up, up, up. The only reason that it's gone down a bit in the last two months, in terms of jobs particularly, is because of Katrina.
Also, Iraq's not a failure, foreign alliances are what they are because Bush doesn't bow to the wishes of other nations which had interests in not going into Iraq, etc. because of Oil for Food, and I think that his poll numbers will go up.
The American people are just frustrated, plus the media and left as a whole have been allowed to bash Bush on Iraq without being countered, and that's lead to his poll numbers going down.
It's far from the American people awakening. It's the media making the administration seem horrible, corrupt, and like a failure without being countered, until now, by the administration.

I agree with Republican_Man.... on this.

Besides you can never believe what media says anyway. All they do is lie and spin things..

Iraq is not a failure. By our troops there, the Iraqi people can be free. We help the Iraqi people to get rid of an horrible and evil man who is Saddam..

World leaders are seldom appreciated during their time in office (with few notable exception). It usually takes the public a little time after their retirement to form enough coherent opinions on their entire reign in order to write biased history books about such figures.

If you really wanted to compare Bush and Clinton hatred, should look up Clinton, too. There's a lot of animocity on both sides.

I did. And there's a lot fewer than anti-Bush. But there are too many, I'll grant you that, but far fewer. Again, Clinton's time was a walk in a run-down park. Bush's time is worse. Bush faces much more hatred than Clinton, although, granted, there was some hatred displays of Clinton--far too many, if you ask me.
I think Clinton is not worthy of respect, is little more than a lying cheater, and wasn't a good president, but I don't nearly hate him. Do I dislike him? Yes. But hate him? Not even close.

Politics is just a waste of my time. Certainly here in England, where everyone's out for themselves.

That's quite a cynical way of looking at it; why not try and change something?
