I'm not sure where Voyager could go. Obviously, I don't think it'd be wise to write a movie where they're sent back to the Delta Quadrant, but perhaps they could deal with a threat to Earth like Kirk used to in his adventures.

mmmm... I dunno, I read some books set after their return and they were ok... but it wasnt the same. I'm afrad I think it would be best, if the movie was set before their return

I'd have them destroyed.
If it HAD to be set in the Alpha quadrant, then there should be a threat from the Delta Quadrant. It is VOY's area of expertise.
If VOY was fighting the Dominion or Klingons, it would be...strange.

Ya, the books set after their return are a bit weird, but that's ONLY because the crew isn't together...I think they could do a great movie if the crew was brought together...you know?
Ya, a bad guy from the DQ...but not to say that they're not just as capable of fighting the romulans, or klingons, or dominion and what not...

Maybe... they got all contact from Neelix that he is threatened and they need to save them and that all members of VOY come back to VOY and they go save Neelix?

Well, seeing as to how Neelix is about 30,000 LY from Starfleet, that would make for one long movie. Very unlikely that would happen. And it's also very unlikely that Starfleet has developed a faster way to travel than they already do. I'm sure they will eventually, but not only 5 or 6 years after Voyager got home.

if i could make movies about voyager i'd base it on
http://vv8.jetc.org
new enemy (called the serniax), new ship, a return to DQ, the borg under new leadership, and much more.
Maybe it'd just be better to make another two seasons.

I wanna see a Star Trek Voyager: Distant Shores sort of thing.
I want it set after Voyager's return..and I want it to be Homecoming and The Farther Shore put together in one film. Also, I'd like to see Janeway and Chakotay get together like in Distant Shores, there's a JetC tale by Kristen Byer. AWESOME. I want to see the Christie Golden books brought together full circle and J/C brought together at last.

Oh yes!!! Totally totally totally!!! ^^^
"Homecoming" and "The Farther Shore" were well written. I really liked them. The only think I didn't like was in "Homecoming," it was the Xakarian flu, but there's a typo through the rest of "The Farther Shore," that calls it the Xanarian flue...that bugs me every time I think of it. But it was well written otherwise. It should be done. Granted...I want to see Star Trek go beyond "Nemesis," but we deserve to see what happened upon Voyager's return that happened, obviously, before "Nemesis."

If there was to be a Movie, Ten to one it would have Q involved in some form or another. I mean think about it, Voyager did have some extensive realations with the Continuum. Jean-Luc did to, but Were they as intimate as Janeways? Did Picard actually impact the continuum other than 'sparing' humans.
Could result in some interesting creative work for writers.

It's been done, in a way, but I'd like to see Endgame, be the beginning of the film, but they arive in the Mirror Universe instead of their own.
How would they get the updated Voyager back to their own universe
How many would survive to get back
Would Admiral Janeway be there to help them defeat the Borg
Heck, would they even be welcomed back
I think this sort of film would work for Voyager.

The going to the Mirror Universe is a unique idea...kind of worth a look...but the ONLY problem with it is the fact that at the end of "Endgame" we see they're obviously not...
Of course they'd be welcomed back, b/c they've been away for so long...wouldn't most families and friends and other comrades welcome anybody back from something like that? I know I would! haha...

As you said, in a Mirror Universe they would be welcomed back because they were family and friends, but mainly by the masses and the Fleet because of the technologically advanced ship they were flying?
A powerful ship in any universe, but in Mirror, who would try to get their hands on her first, and would the Voyager crew be able to stop the ship falling into the wrong hands?
Would the crew even know whose were the wrong hands?

Okay...what? Sorry, I'm not quite following you here...
I didn't say that in the Mirror universe they'd be welcomed back, I meant in the current universe they would be welcomed back...I haven't got a clue as to how the Mirror Universe would react to them. I don't even have a clue as to what the Mirror Universe would think if THEIR Voyager were also stranded in the DQ...and then just suddenly appeared. But still, it would make for an interesting plot line...but, like I said UNFORTUNATELY for that idea in a movie, it can't happen because we saw they weren't in the Mirror Universe...

Oh my gosh! I thought maybe I was the only one who noticed that typo or that maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, lol! Yes, I would love to see a movie with the combination of both the books "Homecoming" and "The Farther Shore." I think it would be an awesome story. I really would just like to see a Voyager movie that is based post-Endgame. Except the only problem would be another Borg plot in the Star Trek storyline and another movie with the Borg. That would be cool, but I know some people are tired of the Borg. However, it was interesting with Christie Golden's stories.
Did anyone read Spirit Walk parts 1 & 2? I read them and I thought they were okay but not the same, especially with Janeway behind a desk...ugh. I don't know, the story was just not as fast paced as the other 2 were. I want her to write more post series books. But I don't know if she's planning on writing more, and I want her to put Janeway and Chakotay together. There was that one quote in I think it was "Homecoming" where Chakotay says, "Oh you'll always be captain to me." And then Janeway says, "I hope not..." I was like, hmmm, o.O, what is that supposed to mean? But yeah, so many things that I'd like to see happen...*le sigh*

Ya, the "Spirit Walk" books were good, but I agree, not as good as the 2 books previous to them. I want her to write more as well, but it doesn't look like it. But then again I haven't been to her site in forever...and the fact that she hasn't written anymore ALREADY, kind of makes me think it's not gonna happen.

Set the story some years after "Endgame", maybe it could be based on the events in "Homecoming" and the books too.
Get the main crew from the series together for a mission to the Delta Quadrant or Gamma Quadrant.
Add Kes and Neelix too.

It's okay to bring Neelix back...Because he's still alive...
If it's set a number of years after Voyager's finale, then Kes would be long dead...if it's set DIRECTLY after the Finale, then Kes would be 8 years old. 1 year from dying. So there's no point in having her on because she would be useless. Not to mention she went back to her people which are farther than Neelix...But Neelix probably wouldn't be coming back, unless on a viewscreen, b/c he is still so far away.

sounds pretty far fetched but they could do a VOY movie about 7 of 9 had only pretended to join back to humanity, and when they are back in the alpha quadrant she becomes a new borg queen and starts a new collective!

Talk about VERY far fetched...lol
She's undergone TOO much on Voyager for Trek to even THINK that that would fly. There would be so many Voyager fans out there that would freak out if that happened...and I don't mean "Freaked out" in a good way...LOL
