PostThu Nov 17, 2005 2:14 pm    Holland?

I wanted to post this topic for a while, thought about it a lot.

Bottom line: I'd like to know what you guys think of Holland.

Politically, especially What do you think of our laws, our way of handling things, what do you think of what happens in our country (if you know it), and how we deal with that.

But other things are welcome too!

I hear all kinds of different things in the news, on CNN and stuff, but I'd really like to know what your opinions are.

If you think I've put this topic in the wrong section, please move it

"Vla" is not really a pudding. It's a sort substance made of milk etc. It's my fav dessert. There are many different Vla's. Double Vla, Vanille Vla, Choclate Vla, Caramel Vla, and many more variations. We also have Yoghurt, that's tasty. And, did you know that Holland is the land of the cheese..? Some Belgians call us "Kaaskoppen" *Cheeseheads*, probally because most people have a round head here in Holland.

Anyway, enough talking, lol. I was wondering who has ever been in Holland, and if you were in Holland, did you enjoyed it?

Don't forget the "Hopjes vla"

i think it can be translated as "Custard"? I could be wrong though.

Yoghurt is Yoghurt though.

most famous cheese here is probably "Edammer"(or just "Edam").

Man, i'm just stuffed with useless information

Holland is ok I guess. They do have a weird accent

The Dutch seem to be very open-minded people and I like that. They're also very well spoken. They seem to have a strong opinion about everything. I don't know much about the Dutch law as I hate politics...

All in all, I'd give Holland a 8/10.
