Something YOU can do to help at the WTC

On the news, they are saying that the firemen are getting discouraged
because they have not found anyone in more than a week. They leave out
the
part about the horrific conditions and sights they see, but through it
all,
they go on and on and on and on...

So here is an idea: A Card-Writing Campaign. Go out to your local
Hallmark
(or where ever it is you by your greeting cards) and buy a card that
reflects what your feelings are about their heroic efforts and send it
to
them at:

NYC Fire Department
1 Chase Manhattan Plaza
New York, NY 10005

Just think how powerful this message can be. If all of you send this
e-mail to everyone you know, and they send it to everyone they know and
if
all of the people who get this note send a card, we can be the start of
a
miracle.

Kind of like when the Post Office delivers all the mail addressed to
Santa to Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street.

Lets start our own miracle. Lets show these brave men how we feel
about them.

They need our love, support and encouragement.

Come on, guys, it's a very easy, very inexpensive thing to do. You know how they must feel now. It would probably be a great boost in their morale.

I think it's an awesome Idea! Imagine how down the rescuers are. This kind of effort could help them a lot! Count me in!

Got my card last night, it's really cute! I wish more people would get involved in this. Imagine how sickening thier jobs must be right now? I think they need to be recognized.

I'm sending mine in the morning. On the front it says, Above and Beyond, w/ some odd pic, and on the inside it says, Thanks for going there. I hope it helps in some way.

I cant remember it exactly, It was a week ago that I sent mine out. On the front, it had a cartoon angel. It said, "the head angels union isnt pleased with you" and inside it said, "it appears you've been giving them too much competition. Really appropriate.
