I usually hear it as such, but when I was searching the internet that one night a while back when we talked on MSN about a kid who was, what, 13 years old? and made a political book. One of his ideas was that it should be a national issue, when I searched for his book on the net. Kyle Williams, I thnk it was. It is intriguing, although being that it is murder, it might more well be a national issue as opposed to a state issue (and I don't mean state as in government. We should technically be the United Provinces of America, but history was different. Nation and state are different things. The US is really a state, and Colorado's really a province, but let's not get into technicalitiies.).

A certain party had turned the issue by using an insidious lie. They claim that this is an issue of women's rights being supressed. Women rights have nothing to do with it, unless you count brutally murdering a baby a right. If Republicans wanted to supress women's right, how about not letting them work? Not letting them vote? There is a reason abortion was chosen. Murder isn't a right.

This is why laws against murder needs to be put in place, because some of humanity is so stupid, they do it, knowing that its wrong.

Thats something pro-abortion people say to make themselves feel better about what they're doing. A way to ease their conscious.

I really don't see how anyone thinks that feticide is a "right".

Why not have the right to murder your neighbor if you find him to be an inconvienence in your life?

Fact is; if you don't want a baby, you don't get pregnant, if you keep your pants on, you won't get pregnant. (People always bring up rape, it's an extreme situation, plus ADOPTION is always an option!)

Adoption is a wonderful thing.

Have you looked at the American adoption system, it's a disaster. It is already overcrowded as it is.

There is a huge difference in what we'd like to happen, and what does happen.

I would love for every woman who doesn't want to have a baby and gets pregnant to be reassured that her baby is wanted by someone. But that will never happen.

Look at what things were like before Roe v. Wade, that's what it will be like again. Except worse. Because women know that they should have the right to choice, and have had it. It would be a disaster.

Ok, why not just mass execute orphans?

Your cure to the disease is to kill the patient. I don't want that.

Thousands of parents are waiting for adoption, the system is messed up, but that's one other problem to solve.

I'd rather have a difficult life than none at all. I think about 99% of people out there would agree.

Again, abortion is only advocated by those who've been born. I, for one, can thank God every day that I wasn't aborted. I'm glad I wasn't, and I believe every child born would agree. I really could care less about the Woman's so called "right to 'choose'." She waived that right when she dropped her skirt. I care about the new life, who is undoubtably entitled to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

How difficult of a life have you had?

Was your mother raped? Was she afraid to have you? Was she afraid to look at you?

Were you born with a horrible ailment that would cause you parents a lot of financial trouble, massive stress, and a lot of physical pain for you?

Were you born into a poor family who couldn't feed their other children as it is?

Were you born into an area where violence and abuse is a daily occurance? Where people just don't care?

Were you born to a mother who didn't know where the nearest adoption agency was?

There are too many variables. You can't speak for all of America. And I understand how the father should have a choice, but how is it that the majority of people trying to put anti-abortion laws are men? Who will never know the pain of having to abandon a child (either through adoption or abortion).

I also am thankful that I wasn't aborted. But I was also blessed with a family who wanted me, could take care of me, and was able to care for me.

Kill the patient to cure the disease.

Let's just kill off all of the mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, and unwanted. While we're at it, why not the elderly; those with illnesses? Why not kill my neighbor? He's a real pain in my backside. Smokers and the obese cost America billions, why not just kill them off? Why have prisons? Let's just kill all criminals.

What's the value of life?

Mothers, I could care less, she made her choice allready, she's accountable for that.

One there is a huge difference. I'm too tired to get into it now.

As for accounability: you failed to answer one question for me. Rape. Is rape the victims vault? No.

But morality isn't the entire argument here. Let me ask you this, what do you think would happen if Roe v. Wade is overturned? Not what do you think should happen. What will happen.

And do you know what women used to do prior to the decision? It was worse than it is today. By a long shot.

I don't see it. Murder is murder.

So now rape justifies murder? Sorry they had a crime done to them, but that still doesn't give them a right to do something worse to their child. If your best argument is to resort to a ridicululous extreme, then maybe you should re-evaluate your angle.

What should happen? Abortion should be illegalized, and unborn rights should be more clearly established. At least these kids will get a chance.

Yeah, and these women should get life without perole. I'd have no sympathy for them, and i'd hope the justice system wouldn't either.

---

Again, someone dosen't want to get pregnant, that's their choice, they can be responsible. They don't want to have a baby, THEN DON'T GET PREGNANT.

I still don't know how we even came up with the idea of abortion. It's legalized evil. I have no sympathy for almost any woman who's had one. The kid deserves a chance, wanted or not, healthy or not.

EVERYONE should be entitled to a CHANCE!

It's called Abstinence. Maybe your school should/should have actually teach/taught about it. Abortion just because she doesn't want to have the baby? Well, she should've thought about that before getting into bed.

I have to disagree with LB a bit, though. I think that there is justification if there is rape, the mother's life is in danger, or there is a SEVERE mental defect that will make it so that the child will be a vegetable or what have you for his/her entire life. (Although in the case of rape I think it would be best for the mother to have the baby and give it up for adoption, at the least, and be willing to give up her life if she got pregnant consensuallly.)

But I have to tell you a story. Recently, on NBC or some station my mom was watching a news show at dinner time, and a story came on about a 12 year old girl who was just like a baby--literally. She was hardly bigger than a baby and couldn't function any more than a baby. And she was twelve. And yet she still lives a good life. Nobody could have predicted this, but what if she was aborted? She has a good life even though she's a 12 year old baby. That brings me caution about the latter, and why I'm not so solid about it...

Rape victims don't stop to think, it is not the babies fault. The baby knows from right from wrong yet. It is how you raise a child. My sister was raped and got pregnant, she didn't kill the baby. She gave the baby up for adoption. She had a heart. She didn't punish the baby by killing him.
