Yes i know but it's also mixed in with a hell of alot of fannon.

Y-wing specs
Pretty much:
Standard hull
2 Laser turrets
Proton torpedoes

You can get a lot of info on the y-wing from the star wars guide to ship and vechile book. I do not own it but.

Defiant. There was a VOY ep where a ship firing lasers did diddaly squat to federation shields...... so the y-wing would have to rely on its higly inacurate ion cannon which i thought had a recharger, it would get very far against the defiant!

Y Wings Dont Have Any Shields... 1 torpedoe from defiant and boom by by y wing,

When u thiunk about it defiant is bigger and run by 100 or more peeps and a y wing is 1 person... is bascily a shuttle..

OK the Defiant would win. How do you's think a y-wing would do against a Norway class, a Klingon bird of prey from enterprize time, and last a Romulan bird of prey tos time.
