So, who has some irrational fears? Things you know you have no reason to be afraid of, but just can't seem to shake it?
I do, but I want to see some of yours before I post mine,

You mean phobias? Heights. I have a fear of heights. And when I'm home alone, I have a fear of silence, particularly in darkness.

Spiders totally freak me out. My teacher showed us this "natures nightmares" video that had black widow spiders in it in 6th grade and i freaked out. So ever since then...

Snakes. I was talking to someone the other night (And I almost exclusively have this extreme of a reaction at night) and got to thinking about snakes. Imagining them, slithering over my skin, in my blankets... I started whimpering and screaming. It's kind of pathetic. I've never encountered a real, dangerous snake. They just freeeeak me out.

If at all possible, I refuse to even look at a picture of a snake.
A weird one for me, though, is I used to have issues going down to the basement after dark. Don't know what I thought would be down there..., I can still freak myself out about it if I think about it too much.

Yeah, I used to be scared there was a creepy guy hiding in the basement. And he might find out that I suspected. And get me.

Lightning Bolts
Everytime a storm comes I tend to freak out because I fear getting hit by a lighting strike.

heights(not much) and any creatures that are Poisonous(can bite and sting). Doesn't have to be a poisonous one but if any of their kind is venomous then i'm afraid of all of them.

Claustrophobia. I can't stand being in a space too small to let me turn around and get out.
I'm also afraid that I will die of exposure, old and homeless and broke, lying in a gutter and wrapped in old newspapers.
But that's perfectly normal, right?
Right?

I used to be quite afraid of the bathroom in the basement (it connects to my room, used to have no electricity, ivy, spider webs, hadn't been cleaned in who-knows-how-long, was missing some drywall), but we just finished it off and now it's a real bathroom.
And insects and stuff. I'm fine looking at pictures of them, I actually like images of them. But the real things freak me out. Even though I know they can't hurt me.

Its always interesting to see that you can be scared of something because its eighter dangerous(king cobra snake) or filthy(cockroach).
Both can make you scared.
Although i have Creatures i find disgusting, like a maggot, flies or snails i'm not scared of them, i just don't want to touch them.
Is there a difference between not wanting too touch something or being scared? Anybody got the same?

I'm kinda like that. My 'fear' was sand. But now when I think of it I don't 'fear' it at all I just hate the feel of it, if you understand what I'm trying to say.
