~DSG, Promenade, Holodeck~

A low, deep gutteral growl started in Worf. It turned into a howl as his head snaped up. Suddenly, the deafining sound of all the other Klingons that were still alive, howled. It was the howl of a warning. 'Beware Sto'Vo'Kor, for a warrior is on his way.'

The howls ended. Worf looked back down. He placed a hand of support of Xaivier.

DSG, Promenade

Rav, having no luck so far, decided to head into the holodeck to look for the captain. As he was looking in there, he heard a loud barking noise. He decided to head to where the noise was made.

When Rav arrived there, he saw a Klingon aiding the captain.

Rav snapped to attention.
"Sir, I was following Fito, and I'm not sure what happened, but I know that he was engaged by enemies. I don't know who won."

-DSG, Holodeck II(Rav's Bar)-

Ian watched as Aurora's artifical eyes became dull and the spark of life was gone. He stared at the combadge in his hand. His eyes looked back to the dead form of Aurora. The man whispered about his Bajoran wife whom died a few months back, Anika. Aurora had fallen into a depression after her death. Ian even married the two in a ceremony. It was an all Bajoran wedding with their beliefs. In a way, this was a good death. He would be able to find his wife in death.

"Go with the Prophets..." Ian whispered.

His hand ran over his eyes, closing them. Ian heard Worf give it out a loud howl. It only added to the comber mood. Rav walked in and said something about Fito. Ian slowly nodded to Rav and stood up. Without another word to anyone else, he turned and walked out of the Holodeck.

DSG, Holodeck II(Rav's Bar)

Rav could only stand there. He realized that the captain was clearly in a bad mood. He guessed that it was about the fallen one he was kneeling beside.

Rav decided to stay put for a little bit, just to make sure he wouldn't upset the Captain. He barely knew Xavier, but he felt deep sympathy for him. Rav had lost someone close to him as well, and knew the pain.

After He was sure the Captain would be a little more distant, the Ferengi walked away, leaving the Klingon. Rav headed out to Ops, to see if he could help there in anyway.

Obsidian's fighter kept dodging the Defiant's blasts with astounding agility. "You can't stop me, Captain," he said, turned the fighter a ways, and shot out three proton torpedo shots, sending an atomic strike upon the ship. He turned, seeing the blue explosions behind him, and sped from Ion speed to Impulse speed.
Two Koinian fighters flew out of a Nautolian starship to enter formation.

The Nautolian weaved his way into a little bit of asteroids to further protect himself from the Defiant's onslaut.
Now in plain view was his personal starship, the Dark Shadow. Speeding out of the few asteroids, the two Koinian fighters trailing behind, the Imperator neared the craft, which was now a mere mile away...

-DSG, Promenade-

Ian staggered through the Promenade. The battle was over and the Imperium forces had fled. Whoever left at least fled. The Imperium ships beamed them out and are flying away from the station. Ian knew that somehow Fito lived. His eyes moved to one of the port holes. He saw the battle had taken a strange turn. Federation, Klingon, and Romulan ships were in space. The Imperium forces were trying to get away in quick haste. Ian's tearful eyes turned away and he walked through the promenade like a zombie. Every step he took, he had to walk over a dead body. Some officers were kneeling or sitting next to a dead body and mourning the loss of their fellow officers. Lightsaber scarring, phaser blasts, and explosive blasts were all over the bulkheads. Blood of various colors seeped into the carpet. A human woman, civilian, was clutching the body of a young boy. He had a hole in his stomach from a lightsaber. She was screaming and crying while rocking his dead body back and forth.

"Why!?" She sobbed, "No no no no no....why....why...."

Ian turned away quickly unable to look. He walked past a Bajoran Vedek.

"This is punishment by the Prophets!" He yelled, "Beware! The Federation has angered them!"

Ian continued on through the Promenade. It seemed like it had turned into a river of blood and tears. Ian stumbled over a dead body and dropped to one knee. He looked around at the bodies in sadness. All of them were nothing but faces to him. Starfleet, Imperium, civilian. He couldn't really see who they were. Just faces. Death....death....death....everywhere.

Safe and secure, Obsidians fighter arrived at the Dark Shadow. After transmitting the proper security codes, the main hangar bay doors opened.
In a command sector of the command ship, a Koinian officer looked up at a Nautolian lieutenant. Sir, Lord Obsidians shuttle has arrived.
The lieutenant responded to that statement, saying, Inform the Captain that Lord Obsidians fighter has arrived.
Yes sir, the Koinian officer responded, and transmitted a message to the Captain.
Alarms rang throughout the hangar bay as the Nautolian Starfighterthe personal craft of the new ruler of the Nautoliansentered the bay.
A legion of Nautolian, Koinian, and few scattered Cardassians entered the bay in single file, in front of the fighter, but leaving a path to walk.
As the starfighters cockpit opened, and smoke came out, the Captain of the craft, Vicor Cargie, flanked by two Cardassian guards, walked down the created center aisle towards the starfighter. Fito flipped out, landing in front of the fighter, facing in the direction of the Captain, who was taken aback by the sudden appearance of his Imperator right in front of him.
Cargie got on one knee and looked up. Welcome, Lord Obsidian. It is a pleasure to at last have you on board your personal craft.
You may dispense the pleasantries, Captain. This is not an overly pleasant day. The Nautolian imperator began to walk, and Cargie rose, following behind him, the two Cardassian guards following behind them. I must speak with Admiral Vecon.
The ships captain paused as he walked. His ship is incredibly damaged, my Lord. The Onderon was nearly destroyed in the battle.
It is irrelevant. I must speak with Vecon, immediately.
Yes, my Lord, Cargie responded.
Has Glinn reported in, Captain?
His ship was destroyed during the battle, Lord Obsidian.
An unfortunate loss. But it is of no concern. Take me to my new office, immediately.
Of course, my Lord.
The two Nautolians and two Cardassians walked on.

Shortly after, Fito entered his office, where his new personal guard an aide, a Nautolian Master, stood at the door. Cargie and his two guards had left the room, and Obsidian signaled the Onderon.
Vecon answered the hail. Hello, Lord Obsidian. How are you feeling? the Admiral said, stuttering and nervous.
How I am feeling is of no concern of you. You have no concerns anymore. Just give me a status report on the fleet.
Of course, my Lord, Vecon said, started and worried. Only five Nautolian Destroyer-class vessels and twelve non-Destroyer-class vessels survived in our fleet. Only three Cardassian ships survived the battle, and one hundred fighters managed to get to safety
Why did you order the fleet to flee the scene without my approval? Obsidian asked, angered and disapproving, darkly and evily.
We were losing the battle, my Lord. We had no chance
Those are excuses, Admiral Vecon, Obsidian said, rising his hand up, beginning to choke the Nautolian. I am not interested in excuses. You failed me. I do not tolerate failure. His gripped tightened, and Vecon fell to his knees, gasping I beg of you, Lord Obsidian. But it was of no consequence. He fell completely, dead.
Motioning to his guard, Fito said, Instruct Captain Cargie to order the fleet to set course for the Drakon One Colony. Time is not of the essence, however.
The guard nodded. And wait outside the door, please. Do not return into my office unless I instruct you to do so. I do not wish to be disturbed by anyone. The guard nodded again, turned, and left. After he left the room, Obsidian quickly undress and got into a black Dracon robe uniform folded on his desk. After this, he sat at his desk, accessed the computer, and tapped a few keys. With a little hefty maneuvering, Fito managed to find Aia, lock on to her, and beam her aboard his starship. He stood, and the woman suddenly materialized in his personal office on board the Dark Shadow.

Aia had been running when the transporter beam caught her. She gasped, disoriented and unbalanced, nearly toppling over into the dark, metallic desk in front of her. She breathed deeply, growling between gasps, clutching the desk in pure anger. Who the hell had taken her from her sickbay without giving her a damn reason?

Her eyes closed a moment, long enough for a dark wave to swell over her. Her stomach turned at the feeling, and she bit her lip. Something wasn't right. Something...

Something very strange was behind that desk. Something that looked like Fito, but mutated into someting more strange than before, all reds and hellish colors. His shelf like a shrine displayed lightsabers and ship models, delicate and daunting. Aia gulped, looking into Fito's deep, dark eyes. If she didn't know how he felt to her, she doubted she would recognize him. "Sir. I hope you have a good reason for removing me from my post."

Obsidian smiled, darkly. "Hello, Aia..." He paused, standing up behind his desk. "Welcome to my command ship, the Dark Shadow, flagship of the Nautolian Empire..." He paused, allowing Aia to take in the situation. "Yes, Aia. Things are different. I am now the Imperator of a newly established Empire, whose objective is to end the mass corruption in the Federation." The room was relatively dark, with the lights dimmed a good amount, but not too much. "You are no longer on board Deep Space Guardian. And I have relieved you of your duties as Chief Medical Officer on board. Welcome," he smiled, pleasantly, "to my new empire, and to the Dark Shadow." He paused, waiting for her response. It would no doubt be unwelcoming. He could sense that this would be difficult.

~Deep Space Guardian, Promenade~

The Turbolift doors opened. Archer steped out, his mouth wide open. He manage to speak.

"God in heaven....."

Archer looked around. Bodies almost litery covered every inch of the flooring. The Blood did. The stench of blood was foul. Archer looked around and saw the slumped form of Ian Xavier. Archer went over, and knelt by Ian.

Worf walked out of the Promenade. The sight sickened him. The Coward Fito, ordered these attacks, then ran like a whipped dog with it's tail between it's legs. Worf shook his head. He still had his Bat'leth in his hand, which had Cardassian, and Nautolian blood drying on it. Worf steped around, carful not to step on the bodies. Various other Klingons were doing the same. Some, were even at the sides of the dead, praying in Klingon. Worf let out a little grunt. It was surprising, to see Klingons do this, despite Klingon belife in the body is just the shell the contains the soul. THen again, these Klingons, like Worf, respected other Cultures belifes. Worf came upon the woman clutching her son. He could not help but think of his own son, Alexander. Worf knelt by the womans side, and began a prayer for the deceased boy. He asked the his ancestors to watch over the boy as he made his final journy. Worf then stood, and looked at the boy and the woman again. He then steped on, looking around at the sluaghter. Women,... children,... civilians. The Cardassians and Nautolians had NO honnor what so ever. Worf could not help but feel for these people. Life, would be dificult now, especialy, in the next few weeks. Worf looked over, and saw a sight that almost made him sick enough to vomit. A boy, about 8, had no limbs. From the burns, Worf guessed that an engergy sword had been used againts him. Worf turned to the nearby Klingon.

"Get some more officers on here now, for security sweep."

The Klingon saluted, then went to follow his orders.

~Defiant, Bridge~

T'Sa sighed. It was no use chasing the fighter.

"Take us back to the station, they could use what ever medical facilites we have."

The defiant headed back to the station under full impulse power.

~Hippocratic Oath~

Commander Benson had ordered the shields lowered, and the ship redocked. Injured were now beaming on, and walking on, or being brought on to the ship by the bundel. The ship was already starting to fill up.

~DSG, Sickbay~
The EMH was running over to Doctor Shoran when she suddenly beamed away. The EMH knew something was wrong. He tapped his holographic Comm badge

"EMH to Security, Doctor Shoran has just been beamed away from sickbay"

Deep Space Guardian
On Deck 347, the majority of the remaining Imperial forces, lead by the highest-ranking known survivor, Igra Tolar, a Cardassian, massed together. Approximately 150 in total remained. These included 24 Nautolians, 42 Koinians, and the rest were Cardassians. They would wait a short time and then, unexpectadly, have approximately 120 of them attack the citizens on the Promenade. The other 30, which would include a few Nautolians and Cardassians, but no Koinians, would remain, ready to take action when necessary, and perhaps carry out suicide bombings in the days to come. The goal was no longer the conquest of the station, but it had become hurting it as much as possible, and doing as much damage to Starfleet as possible.

Aia looked about the room. She tried not to show fear, for it was fear that predators took power over. She controlled her breathing carefully, cold blue eyes surveying him in boundless prejudice. "And I'm you prisoner now." She snapped, "You're going to take me away from people who are dying. People who need my help."

"Oh, no, my friend, you misunderstand me and your current situation. You are not my prisoner. If you were my prisoner, I would be placing you in a holding cell to remain. No, once we return to Nautolian space, I will allow you to do what you wish. You are not my prisoner. Not in any way." He paused, very briefly. "You saw what they did to you. The Command Staff tried to imprison you, am I correct? Yesyes, I am, and you know it. They knew that you were close friends with me, and their racism against the Nautolians and general corruption for power carried over to those that liked us. They knew that you were close to me, a Nautolian, and had powers of unprecedented proportions, and their racism against my people lead them to see you as a threat. They were afraid of you--afraid of what you could do, and afraid of your closeness to a Nautolian." He paced to the other side of Aia. "I know you can sense this, Aia. I sensed it beforehand, and took the necessary steps to work to end it. Their racism was ever-apparent in the prejudicial trial of myself." Once again he paused, briefly. "If they hadn't included you in their plot already, they soon would have--unless, of course, they were, in fact, frightened of you. They were planning to kill me, and then kill all the Nautolians."

"You were the one who started the massacre on the station, weren't you?" Aia said cautiously, backing up from the darkly intoned desk. Her fingers had begun to chill, she balled them into fists as a last ditch effort to warm them. She growled, her nails pinching into her palm. "That's not the kind of thing you taught me. The Fito I knew wouldn't do that. You're no better than the worst of the Alliance men. Stinking muderers, the lot of you." She tore her gaze away, shivering in spite herself. "I want out. I want to go back to my sickbay, I want to help my friends."

"Aia, you have no friends! Know this. Neither of us has friends in the Federation. If you consider any member of Starfleet a friend, then are greatly misguided. And the Federation is not your friend." He paused for a second. "You do know the truth about Turkana, Aia, do you not? About the Federation's involvement in it? About Tevan? And about how, if you had the knowledge that I do now, you could have saved your mother's life?"

"Liar." Aia spat, leaning up against the door. She didn't know what kept her here, but something told her she should hear him out, listen to what he had to say. Something was keeping her there. She closed her eyes, letting out a long breath. "They're innocent people. They're not some kind of commodity. Even if some officers are bad gives you no reason to kill so many. Seventy two people died while I was on duty. Seventy two! Do you understand that? Those were just the people who were well enough to drag themselves into sickbay."

"Casualties of war, Aia. A war to end the corruption." He paused, briefly. "Search your feelings, Aia. You know the truth. Deep down you know it. The ones who killed your mother...they were Starfleet officers. As were those who killed Tevan, the boy in your dreams. It was a massive coverup, trying to conceil the Federation's involvement in that situation--particularly from people like you. It was Starfleet propaganda that led you to believe that the Alliance ((OOC: Whatever it was)) killed your mother, so that you would not know the truth. Search your feelings, Aia. You will know that I am telling the truth. Search your memories. Examine your past. Know the truth! You must break through the fog of lies the Federation has created. You must learn the truth." Obsidian then closed his eyes and reached out, transmitting that nightmare--only going a step further--to Aia. He opened them, and watched her with interest.

Aia was about to speak. She was about to step forward, about to point at Fito in fury. Her vision blinked away from the room.

Back in the room. Tevan was in the corner. The men, the men had come into the shack. The Alliance men looked up.

"Mind your own damn business," one of the Alliance cronies growled.

"Wait!" Aia screamed at the newcomer, "Wait, help us! Take Tevan! Oh, God, please take Tevan..." she sobbed, "Take him away, please..."

Aia was listening to herself. She could see her starved fifteen-year-old body, the tattered remains of her clothing. She could see Tevan's broken body. She could see it all so clearly. There were no tears this time, clouding her vision. The younger version of herself was crying, but she was not. She was watching. Watching...

The men. She could see them.

"I can't do that." He began to run.

The man in the starfleet uniform began to run. The older Aia ran after him. Her heart pounded in her chest. Tevan was being killed, his screams echoed from the shack. She followed the man. The man stopped in front of a group of starfleet officers. He sighed when he reached them. "Just the locals. Pathetic bunch. We shouldn't even
be here."

One of the other uniformed men nodded. "We reported our findings to the Captain. Don't worry, we don't have to stay. We're leaving now."

Aia snapped back into reality. She gasped for breath and realized she was on her knees, tears dripping down her cheeks. "Damn it, damn it, damn it," she sobbed, "Make it stop!"

"That is what I am trying to do, Aia!" Fito proclaimed. He bent down, giving her a friendly hug, attempting to comfort her. "I am trying to end the corruption in the Federation. I am trying to prevent such incidents from happening. I had attempted conversations with Ian before, while you were on your quest, trying to use peaceful methods to communicate my grievenses. He would not hear me," Obsidian lied, but sounded truthful, "and said that it was only a few members of Starfleet that were corrupt and racist against Nautolians, as well as others. He wouldn't listen to me!" he proclaimed, passionately. "This was the only thing that could be done, Aia. Look at it this way. In the long run, won't the Federation be served by the deaths of those who were supporting a corrupt regime? Won't the Federation, and all peoples, be served better by having us--you and me--rule the Alpha Quadant? Won't it benefit all peoples in the long run?" The Nautolian paused, briefly. "The ends do not always justify the means, no, but in this case, they sure as hell do. This war is NECESSARY, so that something like that which you experienced on Turkana will not happen again, and so that racism against a certain race will not occur, and so that corruption as a whole will be GONE! This is the war to end all wars--the war to, in the long run, SAVE lives!" He paused.
"I have become one with the Darkness of the Energy, Aia. But one who has the Darkness is not evil. I was once misguided into believing that those who were one with the darkness were evil, but I now know that that is false. The Darkness of the Energy is a pathway to a greater power that some consider to be...unnatural. It can end corruption; it can saves lives; and it can bring justice. Join me, and together we can END the corruption in the Federation once and for all. We can bring order to the Alpha Quadrant and prevent another Turkana from occurring! Together, we Use my knowledge. I beg you. If you had the knowledge that I do now, the power that I do now, on Turkana, you could have saved your mother's life. You could have saved Tevan's life. You could have stopped the Federation from doing what they did on Turkana...You could have SAVED people." He arose, and walked towards his case with lightsaber hilts and starships in it. "Only through me can you achieve a power greater than you could possibly imagine. I beg you to learn it--to use my knowledge. I beg you to join me in my crusade for peace, justice, security, and order!"

Aia clutched her fists at her sides, staring into the floor. Ideas and thoughts, possibilities filtered through her mind. She swallowed, tracing a pattern in the cool, black floor. "Good can come of this," she murmured softly, so that only she could hear. She logged bits of information into the back of her mind and flicked her gaze back upon the dark man who stood before her. She locked away the thoughts. I will submit, she told herself, For the good of my people. They won't see it...They'll think I betrayed Them...but They'll see. This is to Their good.

"Show me whatever it is you please." She said, not trusting herself to rise. Hesitation still hummed in her voice. "If I'm not convinced by the time we reach...wherever you're taking me...I will ask to leave. I reserve judgement until then."

Cruz, much to her shock, saw the familiar pilot from before. She appeared out of an explosion. Sophia was still in the fight. The fighter swerved past a Nautolian ship that was exploding. The Nautolians were turning and fleeing with the Cardassians. The combined might of the station, Federation, Klingon, and Romulan ships was too much. This unlikely alliance made it mark once more. Cruz didn't bother chasing after the Imperium ships. She turned the fighter about towards the station and opened her com to the unknown pilot.

"Good flying..." She said to Sophia.

"You too," Sophia responds. "I'm impressed." Sophia watches with awe as the enemy retreats. She begins scanning space for lifesigns of anyone in need of assistance."

Once the fighting was over Harfin looked around, this was to bloddy, way to bloddy, harfin tought to himself, He will pay, i will make sure he pays for this with his own blood. Harfin saw Ian and walked over to him, still holding his phaser rifle, across his chest in a non threatining way. He put a hand on Ian shoulder, "we will make him pay for this." Harfin said to ian in a very serious tone. Harfin looked out of one of the windows to space and say the debris from the fight.

Too many people died here, and fito was the one responsable. =^=Private Rednings to ANY marine officer, my team has pinned down two lingin enemy's they have surrenedered. orders?=^= Harfin sighed then hit his combadge
"Colonel Dicot here, take them to the holding cells in Marine HQ, we will deal with them later. Dicot out" then he hit his combadge again. "Ian, what should i do with them?"

"Good..." Obsidian said, darkly, smiling, but almost like a whisper in tone. "Good..." He paused, briefly. "I am sure that you will grow quite...accustomed to these teachings, my apprentice." Another pause, and he said, more forcefully, "The Energy is strong with you. A powerful Dracon you would become. Now then, Aia...Rise. Rise to a new horizon. Rise to your full potential!"
Fito smiled, darkly. His plans had been set in motion. He had forseen this, and she would now join him.

-DSG, Engineering-

With the help of the last remaining security officer from his original retinue, the tired engineer managed to push aside that huge fallen metal plating that blocked the entrance to engineering. As they forced open the blast doors, Grey saw that the entire operation had been quite unnecessary--someone had seen fit to tear a rather large hole in the side of one wall.

Most of the wounded were being carried out of said hole. The only lucid person seemed to be a crewman who looked like he should be in the Academy instead of out here. Grey approached with as much friendly authority in his voice as he could muster and said, "Crewman, report."

The enlisted man jumped about a metre into the air. "S-S-Sir!" he stuttered nervously. "Most of our main systems are offline. All of our primary fusion reactors are offline, but one auxiliary one is still powering shields. We could get a primary one online but it'll flood an entire level with lethal doses of radiation."

Grey took a look. "Let's get those hull breaches on levels 400-460 sealed first. Once comm is back up, evacaute these levels and then reinitialise that fusion reactor. We need power."

He looked around engineering. It was a wreck. Nary a console stood, and those that did, sparked rather incessantly. Grey sighed and anticipated several sleepless weeks ahead. He hoped that Doctor Shoran would have some pills for that. . . .
