This is not a poll pick who ever you think should become president.
I personally want a democrat like Hillary Clinton as President in 2008 and no more republican presidents for awhile.

Hillary? You want Hillary? She's a devil in disguise. That's quite clear.
Whom would I like to see run for President? Either Newt Gingrich or Condi Rice. Or Tom Tancredo. Or Rudy Guiliani. Or Zell Miller or Joe Lieberman.

I don't know yet. Once I see who's actually running I'll make up my mind.

I was hoping for Newt Gingrich, but I think he may have too many personal skeletons in his closet. Now i'm hoping for a George Allen/Condi Rice Ticket.
I'd love to vote for Jeb Bush, but I doubt he'll run.

Jeb Bush loves Florida too much I don't think hes ready to leave the sunshine state anytime soon.
In replies to RMs comments.
Hillary Clinton for the record would be a good President because she would get the work done. Now don't be going through her bad records calling it proof that she would be terrible. I think she can run this country and boost its economy even further and make the middle class people feel better about themselves by giving them good jobs.
Hillary in my view would take a similar route that her husband took. Remember President Clinton had to fix the bad economy after Bush Senior messed it up big time in the early 90s. In the early 90s from 90 to 92 had gas shortages, riots, poor school systems, and economic deficits. President Clinton got rid of most of that problem and made the country better. (He didnt ride on Reganomics he did his work)
Now Hillary will take the same similar course and fix the damages of the Country done by the war in Iraq, Billion Dollar Deficits Bush Made, Rising Gas Prices, and Environmental Problems Bush is not even trying to fix.
Of course Hillary as president would probably remove the No Child Left Behind Act which does nothing but remove jobs of qualified teachers.
Hiliary Clinton for President anyday.

There is no logic behind what you say. She does not answer important questions and has a horrible record. Plus, she would make the country extremely liberal and hurt it much. She really is a political devil, anyways. I fear the day that Hillary becomes president, which is very likely unless the Republicans can stop her. You should check out the book "The Truth about Hillary Clinton." It shows how diabolical she is, and how horrible a Hillary presidency would be.

Susan Estrich's book? I watched interviews with her over it. There's no reason to do so. And Writing History? How about Dick Moriss' Rewriting History? A Hillary Clinton presidency would be a nightmare.

I know Susan Estrich (not personally, but still). I've seen her debate and discuss her book. She doesn't make good cases, and O'Reilly crushed her by simply asking some good questions about Hillary that she couldn't answer--and she wrote a case FOR her. Plus, much of my family lives in New York. All but maybe one or two of them ABHORE her. She's a horrible Senator and would not make a good president. She's so diabolical, too.

First, Ann Coulter is a great person. She may be wrong sometimes, but she's FAR from an aweful human being!
Secondly, I've heard about MediaMatters. I find a very hard time believing that article. Maybe some of it is true--more than likely so--but nonetheless, I don't trust MediaMatters so much. It's a far-left outlet (as you can see at the side where it talks about MSNBC's coverage leaning to the right, which is FALSE. It's leaning disgustingly to the left) that all should be skeptical about. Besides, what I read from the book at the store is logical and truthful, so yeah.

In all my wistful thinking, I'd like to see a strong libertarian candidate.
...not going to happen. I'm still considering voting third-party. I haven't seen a person make the bid for presidency who I can truly trust, admire, and believe in.

I dunno, the stiffarm breakup and cheating on his wife doesn't look good. I've found out about similar problems with my last favorite politician Newt Gingrich, sadly. The Conservatives are the values party, I certainly hope our nomination reflects that.

Just look at all the lies. Hes almost as bad as that awful human being, Ann Coulter |
Why is she a bad person? Because shes not a far-left nut?
I'm not sure who I'd like to see. I don't know anyone who could really fill the position at the moment. Although I heard some great choices.
Personally I don't want it to be a Democrat, because then my race is screwed.

What was Gingrich about? And those personal family scandals happen to all celebreties, stars and politicians alike. Thank God they don't usually do things like that, and that was in the past. I put it aside, because it didn't involve the American people like Clinton's thing did.

It doesn't really matter what the people do at home, it matters what they make happen in the presidency. However, I would like someone who's a decent person and politician. Maybe...oh, I don't know. An intellectual, a philosopher? *ahem* That eliminates...eh, upwards of 75-90% of congress.

(Ralph Nader will run again and lose)
Now I prefer Democrats over Republican presidents because they are more to the point. Democrats are about taking the right actions at the right time. If the country is in crisis you can always count on a Democrat to be there finding a solution to a problem. Like the good Senator Harry Reid who is a good democrat in my state and always does everything in his power to solve even the most basic problems. Hilary is one of these Democrats, she just doesn't get credited for anything because every Republican thinks everything she does will turn out wrong.
Ahem! If you look at Bush records everything he has done has some really bad side effects like appoiting the useless Micheal Brown to FEMA. I think this country right don't need a republican president because of what they are doing to country is just shameful. They aren't doing the job they are supposed to do like improve the middle class. Plus many of the Republicans promises hasn't come true or been done. The only good Republican is the Governator other than that everyone else is terrible.

Deomocrats providing solutions? I've yet to see a solution from the democrats. They are the party of no and provide no solutions. The Republicans take more action than the Democrats on key present issues.
And I don't believe that Bush appointed Brown to FEMA. Did he? And if he did, he thought he was a competent man. And so he has his problems. So do Republicans. But at least we aren't nearly as corrupt as the Democrats and have better solutions to problems than they do.
You're a liberal, though, so you disagree with everything Conservatives believe, so of course you have that position. Oh, and don't go crying over Frist and Delay and Libby here. Look at all the corruption and scandals the Democrats have had since Watergate--far more than the Republicans. Whitewater, anyone?

I don't trust Democrats or Republicans. The Democrats come off as ununified, crass, loud, hateful, and just unappealing and irrational. They also put too much emphasis on social programs. Republicans come off as aristocratic--even the Alabama senators and such come off as punishers rather than uplifters. (See the FoxNews interview about how Katrina was "punishment" of America's "bad" people) They also have this thing about oil and business thing that's reeeeeeeally getting on my nerves.

Uh, most Republicans don't believe that Katrina was punishment for "bad" people. And I don't think that most Republicans go too far with oil and business (well, mostly business--oil I could somewhat agree with you on), but in my case, I'm not simply talking about Republicans in Congress. I'm talking about people like Sean Hannity and myself as well when I say Republicans.

Sean Hannity's a decent man. Rush is... *COUGH* The incarnation of all bad things Republican, to me. And I know, most Repubs don't think like those senators. That was an exaggerated example, but it's the general feeling I get with resistance to alternative lifestyles.

Mississippi Govenor Haley Barbour is a possibility... he plans on running, but God knows he wouldn't even carry us (Mississippi.) He has proven himself to be one of the wort govenors in our history. Personally I am looking for Hillary and Condi to make a go for it, I like both of them and would like to see which one makes a better canidate for me to vote for.... but so far its up in the air as to who I really care to run.
