It's nice when a billionaire does something like that. Millionaires and billionaires get a lot of flak, with people calling them selfish, remote and uncaring. Yet, people like Lucas and Bill Gates have proven over time that being very, very rich can be a good thing, if you're a humanitarian.

He did make six original movies (not counting his non-SW movies).

Plus the remakes? And part, I, II, III, IV, V, VI, seeing the lack of creativity yet?

Oh I see. Wouldn't class them as remakes, myself, but I get your point.

He may have used much of history and religion as a guideline, yes, but it was all original. And the Special Editions were NOT remakes. They just had added content and tied up some loose ends, adding some things Lucas wasn't able to add in the original. Trust me, they are FAR from remakes.

In my opinion, George Lucas was kind of a one hit wonder.
I loved the Indiana Jones movies, but everything else he did never quite floated my boat. I'll never quite forgive him for creating Howard the Duck, who went on to become Vermont Governor.
Ach, American Grafitti was kinda cheesy, but it wasn't so bad.
