I hated that they killed her.... it made Warf so upset... I liked the other Dax to so they should have put her in but keep Jadzia

It's a shame they killed her off, since Terry Farrell was willing to make limited appearances during the last season.
On BABYLON 5, Stephen Furst not only continued his role as Vir Cotto during Season 3 with limited appearances, he was also doing another TV show at the same time.
I think the Trek producers had reacted out of spite.

As far as how she died, it was in the Bejoran temple on DS9... Jadzia was standing in front of an orb about to offer a prayer or something, when Gal Dukat materializes in the room. He is possessed with the evil Pah'Raith prophet/Wormhole alien and shoots a beam of some unknown energy from his body, lifting Jadzia in the air like on a tractor beam. Watching the look on Jadzia's face, it was like she was being electrocuted. It was a shocking scene to watch, definately saddened/angered me.
The writers could have easily written her off without killing her. I agree with Irene that it seemed spiteful to kill her off like that.

Okies, this is what Maquis told me...she wanted to be on less, because she was on Becker at the time, and in return, Paramount fired her. Pisses me off...she would have been the one reason I would have actually started watching DS9!! (They took it off here when I was starting to get interested in it...) I'm glad that atleast she still had Becker though-it was an alltogether REALLY dumb move on Paramount's part.
