Enterprise was great it really tied up the series but also brought great entertainment to the table. The problem is is that they produced it too soon. If they had waited 4 or 3 years they would have had more fans probably. Star Trek is burned out creativley and fanwise. But in 3to 5 years it will be great.

I like ENTERPRISE because it was funny and at times, quite exciting.

i agree with somethings what magenta said over startrek but i find it hard to beliefe that she find that jonathan archer is overacting and that t'pol is only in the show for sex-appeal but i do like the episode's where trip is on the ship

He sounded so Fake sometimes, maybe it was just the script he was given? He was great in Quantum leap, but in enterprise, way over acted at times!!
T'pol was just a sex object thrown in as a male viewer attraction! But,after watching a few more episodes, she was good at withholding emotion.

I think its when Archer 'recalls' his childhood and historical people from earth, that annoys me!"There was a man named Houdini from early century earth that used to be a",etc etc....
Enough of the I remember from earths history or in my childhood stuff.
Thats my 50cents worth!

It huuuuuuurt to see it, for me. All the timeline differences and the like...I can hardly count it as "trek" in my mind. I will admit, the actors did well, and I liked a few of the characters. They just needed writers who actually knew what they were writing about. If they were going to do a prequel (Shaky idea to begin with) they should have done it right.

I liked in 'Affliction' when Columbia was upside down to Enterprise and Trip was going from Columbia to Enterprise through space. That was the coolest graphic! I can't wait for 'Bound' (it hasn't aired in england yet), but im in spain next week, so I'm not going to see it for like another week and a half
I'm not sure if I wanna see the last episode, I don't think I could face Trip dying (I read spoilers ) so I'll probably stop at 'Terra Prime'.
Still, Enterprise was definately one of the best series of the Star Trek saga. Actually, I'm gonna start a topic about who prefers what series - so check that out if you want some time.
Rock on all you guys/gals/aliens/all of the above out there and live long and prosper! | You really should wacth the finale, even tho I agree it was a disappointment, you should wacth it so you can decide for yourself
Also this is my first post on this site and I love ENTERPRISE.

Despite the disappointment i had with the short outcome of only 4 seasons to enterprise, it was definately worth watching.
My rating: 10

I liked it, but for different reasons.. This series to me was more about action and blowing up things ("kinda" like Star Wars) rather than dealing with the human condition, emotion, and deep philosophical issues like the other series were known to deal with.
However, then again, in comparison to other series this series is a lot earlier in time than the others so this could be the start of what, we know, is to come.

I think it was worth watching, but difficult to stomach at times. Not the acting or CGI, but seeing the Trek we grew up with become...somewhat...unraveled. Things changed and not neccessarily for the better.

Yes I agree it wasn't really Star Trek. The show was completly differen't in it's philosiphy. I could have gone along with that early in the show. At first I was hoping that they would learn from thier mistakes and we would see how they wrote the prime directive and other rules of engagement. But it never happened. The show only went further down the wrong path. Or I should say a contrary path to what Star Trek fans know and like. The show was OK. But it alienated me in alot of ways. I don't feel a connection to Enterprise like I do to the rest of the series.

I never could get into the show. I started watching it for a while, but then the whole Zindi thing got kind of annoying and lasted way too long. I guess I just disliked the slant of their political commentary.
It seemed like it started out fairly well and there were a few good episodes in the last season, but I just didn't like the whole past thing.
I also didn't like the Vulcan revolution subplot... it seemed sort of contrary to what we had always heard about Vulcans before.

I liked the show, the ships, the crew, and most of the episodes, and I saw all of them but one. I liked the way they showed the Andorians, Orions, The run in's with the Klingons, and Vulcans. Having Marines on the ship, was something the other Series just did not go into.
I also felt they went to far with the Zindi thing, Should have been over in the first season. or mid way into the second season, never never should have come to WW2 Earth (The ship over 1940's NY was way cool) . I felt they should have left the Rommulan's out of it, or not bring them in till the end, I mean don't get me wrong, that first show, when all you saw was the bird-of-prey ship and NOT them was one of there bests, but later when they were showing them, they should not have been there.

it was rubbish its been done! the ship didnt ressemble anything like a star fleet ship it just look like loads of plasma tv's and computers and the worst interoir ever! it was pointless while they made that rubbish they could of made voyager longer and see an olternative route or atleast make a voyager movie!

I dont know, they did a pretty good job of tieing up a couple of loose ends in the ST universe, even if they did leave a couple of loose ends themselves (is Daniels' Time scanning equipment still in his quarters...all this time....and no one from SF HQ found it?)
they did an excellent job in explainig the whole Klingons with and without Ridges thing, and they bought us a liitle bit closer the Eugenics wars - nice job incorporating Spiner on that

I love it aswell and have only just got into it when i bought season one and two, I'm not sure weather it fits in the trek timeline since some of the techno looks a bit too futeristic in my opinion, but if i view it as a single and not as a whole time period thing its good to watch .
