IMDB is invaluable to myself. Sure, there is the odd mistake (which is bound to happen on such an exhaustive site), but 99% of the time, IMDB gets it right.

Before I got hooked up to the 'Net, I had to check my Halliwell's Guide for actor details. Now, at the touch of a button, I can find out the name of that person who played a cop in Law & Order, or find out the birthdate of an obscure presenter. It's great.

It's all there isn't it? Trivia. Box office. Filming locations. It enhances your enjoyment of a movie when you're able to read all the facts.
