You know you're a geek when you want some chicken soup and you can't remember where they installed the replicator.

You know you're a geek when you think "Rush hour? No problem I'll just take the transp...oh wait. Crud."

When you are getting ridiculously excited about going to see Serenity this weekend!

When you've been singing the Firefly theme all week.

When you watch all of Firefly in 2 days!!

When you scream out loud in the middle of a class cause you find out that the college open day you're going to is hosting a huge astronomy deomnstration thingy and you are SUCH a freakin space geek...

This is gonna be a gooooooooood weekend....

When you're at school doing a science project on stars and you ask your teacher if you can go to the astromestrics(?) lab to get pictures

When you go to a makeup party and manage to get hyper with someone else who loves Stargate! (actually, it turned out she'd been reading my fanfic on the internet... really small world eh?)

When you're at work and you wish you had a laptop so you could be on STV.com during the lull between customers.

When you managed to kidnap both of your parents and your sci fi hating friend, took them to see Serenity and converted them to adorers of its awesomeness!

^^^LOL...that doesn't tell me what it is...

But it's ok. I just went and saw it earlier this evening. It's a pretty good movie. Good humor where it was due. I recommend going to see it.

Yay! ^.^

And to drift back on topic:

You hear the words "I am a leaf on the wind..." and want to cry.

You start writting "I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar" in your math notes (I didn't do this, the person across from me did )

You see a leaf fall from a tree outside your Irish classroom and spend the next 10 mins having Srenity flashbacks...
(this is a bigtime Stargate one): You spend most of your time wearing combats and a tank top and find yourself referring to your other clothes as civvies...
A general sign of being a geek: you find out that your mom forgot to restock on coffe and have a quadruple heart attack!
Your dad is so scared of you without coffee that he bought you a special travel mug just so that you could get your early morning caffiene fix...

I actually refer to my clothes as civvies...then again, I'm also in the navy, so that might be why...LOL...

When you're at your school's building late, (We have night classes) and they have a giang half circle couch with seats on both sides of it and you sit facing the giant, 2 story windows, (It's dark outside) and imagine the stars are going backwards...Like looking out the aft part of the ship...

(That was me tonight) LOL

no one wants to play Star Trek trivial pursuit with you because
a) they never get a turn
b) they haven't got a chance
or
you've tried to beam to your local supermarket
