PostSun Jul 17, 2005 11:32 pm    Final Fanatics: One FF player's Dream.

Prologue:
Young Lorino walked casually around his home town of Kamloops.
It was boring here, and there was really very little to do, since most of his friends had gone on vacation for the summer.
He decided to go on a hike with his little sister, Alantra.
They casually climbed mount Paul and noticed that there was a tree that seemed out of place. It would be out of place ANYWHERE on earth.
They recognized it from a game called "Final fantasy: The crystal Chronicles.".
It was a Myrrh tree.
Thier curiosity bieng sufficiently tipped, they decided to go take a look.
They quickly ran up the side of Mount Paul, and looked upon the tree.
It had a small pool of goop under it, that looked incredibly tasty.
"It couldn't hurt." Lorino said to Alantra.
"Alright, go ahead."
As Lorino took a sip, he heard someone say "Make a wish, Kupo!"
He turned to Alantra.
"Did you say something?"
"No, Lorino, I didn't." She replied.
"Alright."
As they sat there under the shade of the tree, Alantra pulled out her Game boy, and put in Final Fantasy 1/2: Dawn of souls.
"Do you ever wish that that game was real, Alantra?" He asked her.
"Sometimes." She replied.
"I wish that game was real...then we'd have something to do."
And the myrrh tree glowed bright.
And then it glowed brighter...
and brighter...
and brighter...

Chapter 1:
Blinded by the incredible light, Lorino couldn't see anything.
He just felt wierd.
When it finally dimmed down, he noticed he was not under the myrrh tree anymore.
He looked around.
He appeared to be in some kind of bar, since there was a bartender.
As he looked about, and noticed that there were some wierdly dressed people around.
He also noticed that he was wearing a sombrero, had a sweaty blue robe on, and that he was wearing creepy shoes.
And he had a stick that glowed.
He examined it a bit... and then realized what happened.
He was in FINAL FANTAST 1!
"What the he..." He whispered.
"You say something, spell boy?" A tall lizard creature asked.
"Ummm... Where am I?" He asked.
"You are just outside castle Cornelia, and you are in a random battle with a lizard."
"Ummm...ok..."
He looked to his left, and right.
And then below.
He was FLOATING...
This wasn't in the game...
Below him, there was a white mage, whose name floated above her head.
"Alantra"
and there was a fighter named "Colin", and a thief named "Grant".
These were also the names of his sister, and closest friends.
Across the little battle-engagement box, there were three lizards, and one goblin.
hmmm...
In his bag, he noticed he had two "Potions", and one "revive", and one "player's Guide: Final Fantasy 1/2:Dawn of Souls".
This could come in handy.
As he flipped through the book, the monsters looked at him, and got more impatient by the second.
"alright, I'm ready."
"FINALLY!" the monsters yelled back.
"For monsters, they are really patient." Alantra piped up.
"Don't bug me Alantra, or I'll cast this spell on you, not them." He replied.
"MOVE ALREADY" Came from everyone.
"fine."
He flipped to page 37, and found the spell "firaga" there.
"Firaga!" He exclaimed.
A bolt of fire blasted down from the sky, and hit the lizzards and the goblin.
All four fell to the ground.
"EXP 100! Gil 100!" Colin said.
"wow...lots of gil..."
"Level Up!" Said Grant.
"Wow....yay!"
As he looked around, he noticed that the engagement box had dissapeared, as had the enemies.
"Err...Lorino..." Alantra whispered.
"Yes, Alantra?" He replied.
"You do know you are only level 2, and you just cast a level 30 spell, right?" She asked.
"I care, why? We won, didn't we?"
"True..."
"come on!" Colin yelled, "We have to go talk to the king!"
King? He thought, What King?
And they set off into Castle Cornelia to visit the king.
