PostThu Sep 15, 2005 12:25 pm    You know you're a sci-fi geek when...

You know you're a Trekkie when...

you've read every script of every Voyger episode that you haven't seen on the internet...

*edit* I've changed the name from 'you know you're a Trekkie when...' to 'you know you're a sci-fi geek when' cause I figure that most of us are prone to random acts of non-trek geekiness too!

When you walk into a travel agency and almost ask them about a trip to Risa.

When you walk into a door, expecting it to open for you.

When you go to the doctors office and expect them to pull out a tricorder.

" " " and you think that all of their equipment is so primitive.

When you say "Computer, lights" or walk into and elevator and say "Deck 8"

Thankies

When you have at least one pair of Spock ears.

When you regularly wear said Spock ears.

When you are an active member of an online Trek message board.

When you go to a Star Trek convention dressed in Starfleet dress uniform, with your online rank pinned to your collar.

When you know exactly what a redshirt is, and why you don't want to be one.

You know which side of her mouth Captain Janeway usually smiles with (yes, this is a new level of weird!)

You know exactly how many pips there are for each level of command

You had surgical Klingon implants put in your forehead (no, I haven't done this one)
