In the episode where Kes is in the future, the Doctor had named himself Van Gogh. It's spelled Tchaikovsky by the way... I'm a major fan of his!

But "Doctor Van Gogh" doesn't quite work for me. And neither does "Joe" in Endgame...But then again knowing him as "Doctor" for so long...it's hard to put a name to him.

Nah Van Gogh didn't work for me either... I think Patrick would kinda suit him... but I think he'll always be the Doctor in my mind. First name The, last name Doctor... certainly has a ring to it!

hehe... the Doctor should totally have had his own mini series... where it shows things from his point of view, saying how he actually got Voyager out of all those sticky situations... and he should have lots of funky gadgets that are all cleverly disguised hyposprays.... lol.. my imagination eh?

Ok....personaly I'm just used to calling the doctor "Doctor" and really I'm a creature of habit so I will just call him Doctor until his program decompiles ........But in Endgame when he finaly choose a name for himself in well the future, he could have come up with something better then Joe. I mean really.....and in the words of Tom Paris "Joe?!.....I took you 26 years to come up with JOE?"

"The Doctor" sounds very Dr. Who-ie to me, so think, stick with "The Doctor"

The Doctor is OK but if he really should have a name, why not Dr.Zimmerman. In some of the early Voyager books, he's referred to that name.
