Did anyone else watch this?

I liked this part,

Quote:
Only an impish Chris Rock couldn't resist scaring producers, looking into the camera and saying, "George Bush hates midgets.''

He's patriotic? I don't consider anyone who brutally attacks a sitting President, no matter which party he is of, in a manner like he did at the Oscars patriotic.
I don't dislike most of the Hollywood crowd too much, actually, but he's one of them that I ABHORE.
I mean, I liked the thing about the war between Banana Republic and the Gap--that WAS funny--except for the anti-Bush stuff that filled it.
Plus, I don't see how he's patriotic, period, anyway.

He says that despite America's flaws, he still is proud to be an American. He says that its the best and most powerful nation on the planet. Thats better than most Dem. Trust me.

Well, I didn't realize that, but that only makes me like him .2% more than before.

Uh, no, it's not. The joke there was kind-of funny, I'll submit, and NOT an attack. But he would agree with West's attack on Bush, considering what he did at the Oscars.

Uh, yeah, it was. Chris Rock made it a point to distance himself from West's comment...

And I'd like your definition of patriotic, RM?

Chris Rock is the one who hates height-challeged people. That's why he used the derogatory term "midgets".

G.W. just wishes more of them would vote Republican.

1. Oh, he did? Well then, okay, that's a good thing.
2. Didn't you read when I said that I didn't realize what Founder pointed out? I see that he is patriotic, just not TOO much because of the horrible things that he's said about the President in the past. It's okay to speak out against a president, but regardless of party lines, to do many of the things that he has done is just wrong (i.e. the Oscars), and that is a limit on the extent of patriotism.

And I still don't like him. Maybe there's a 5% increase now, but nothing more.

I don't find Chris Rock funny at all. He is so annoying to me, in my opinion.
