Hi
Is there such a thing as online counsellors who listen to unhappy people? I want to talk to someone, but I'd rather do it online. I don't mind paying a counsellor via Paypal or something like that. I'd rather do that than visit someone in the flesh.
If anyone knows of any online counsellors, can you please provide a link? I don't mind if they're free or not, I just need to contact one. It doesn't matter what country they are based in either.
Thanks.

I would recommend talking to someone in person. But its your decision of course.

Thanks. I had found a couple, but none that did online consultations.

I know. And I appreciated it.

Thanks for the advice, it's just that I don't know if I'd feel comfortable being face-to-face with a stranger. I'd rather speak to a professional online.

You could contact the Samaritans... they're in the UK, but they have an email service.
Email [email protected] or go to the website www.samaritans.org
I've contacted them myself in the past and they've been useful, and they try to reply within 24 hours. However, they're a listening service more than a counselling service, ran by volunteers.
