Have you ever seen Farscape? It's my fave tv show, after Voyager of course!

Farscape kicks butt!
I'm actually watching it again the second time and I'm on episode 6 season 1. Even better the second time around.

I wish Farscape hadn't been cancelled.... I've got the season 1 & 2 DVDs, though and I'm just waiting for the price of the season 3 DVDs to drop a little!

I can't stand this show for some reason. I've tried watching it... but ugh, it just annoys me.

The first few series were really great... but after that it got confusing and went downhill.

If you watch a random episode as an introduction to Farscape, then you're not going to enjoy the series. Start from the first episode and give it a chance.

I've only seen a few eps. I've always meant to give it a solid chance at some point.
People say it's similar to Firefly, except with lots of aliens.

Exactly. The season 1 episodes are the best and you probably won't like the later seasons until youv'e seen it from the beginning- you'll probably only enjoy it when you know what's going on.
I only saw a few various farscape episodes from season 3/4 and I did'nt like them. When I saw the season 1 eps I loved it so much I bought the entire s.1 boxset! Now that I have been properly introduced to Farscape and know what it's all about I enjoy the entire series. (Give it a chance, madlilnerd!)

Actually, I think an individual episode can be appreciated to some extent, as long as you're basically familiar with the characters. Once you get a good grasp on who the heck these people are and what they're doing, then you'll definitely enjoy it even more. The difficulty lies in the fact that unlike most series, Farscape regularly changed its principal cast, setting, et cetera. The show was as fluidic as fluidic space.
I got hooked on Farscape when it was mid-series, being shown in the infinite loop of syndication that was my SF channel. I just love how the show doesn't take itself seriously.
It was quite short-lived, but Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars was a dynamite tribute. I loved every minute of it: the plot was great, the acting was great, and the music was awesome.
