Did you ever see Troi's mom on DS9? I did!! in fact,i own the first season of DS9!! on VHS...

Lwaxana was on DS9 several times during the shows run. It became a sort of running gag that she was in love with Odo (much like what they did with Picard on TNG). Odo eventually realized (unlike Picard) that Lwaxana just liked to get a rise out of him and that was what kept her fixated on him. Eventually they became good enough friends that Odo married Lwaxana so that she could keep her unborn son from a failed marriage.

Well, after taking out the trusty Encyclopedia, I've discovered that Lwaxana Troi was only on DS9 twice (for some reason I thought it was more than that?) The first time was in the episode Fascination when she had the Zanthi Fever and caused all kinds of problems, and the second time was in The Muse when she married Odo so she could retain mothering rights to her child.

^She was definately on DS9 once before "Fascination".
After checking the episode list at startrek.com, I've found it: she first appears in "The Forsaken".

^Correct, Lindley. She was in the "The Foresaken" a season 1 ep where her fascination with Odo begins.
She also appeared in season 3's comic hit "Fascination" and in season 4's "The Muse". This is the last time, to date, that Luxuanna Troi has been seen. I would assume she'd be at her daughter's wedding in Nemisis, though.
