Can someone point me to an excellent episode guide (detailed descriptions if you can find them) to babylon 5?

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

Babylon 5 = Best Science Fiction Show Ever.
Individual episodes don't always work----its all about the story arc.
Excellent guide here: www.midwinter.com/lurk
Don't spoil yourself, though. Feel free to read some of the season descriptions, but not specific episode plots (especially if the guide warns against reading it).

Well, now that the DVD box sets are coming out (season 1 is out----season 2 due in April), you could try it again. And believe me, one of the best parts is the anticipation. Its great if you already know the storyline and plot twists-----but its even better if you don't.

Was there ever a three way battle between a human alliance and other aliens and two alien super powers? I seem to remember this battle...if you could tell me what episode it was i would jump on it.

I agree with Lindley, Babylon 5 is the greatest sci fi ever....i like it even more than trek in some ways. B5 was designed to be a story spread out over a period of five years continuing various story threads throughout. There were very few episode which were stand-alone like in trek...fair enough, the first season was not the best but it got better and better all the time.
I think the episode you are thinking of is called "Into the Fire" (Video 4.3) where the war between the Vorlons, Shadows and "Younger Races" is resolved.....ahhhh its been too long since I watched that. Needless to say I have ordered the season 1 dvd for Christmas...and I think everyone else should as well....mwa ha ha ha...uh hum...yes...Personally I thought season 4 was the best but I shall be replacing my video collection with the DVDs as they are brought out....Apparently season 3 is aimed at a September release and Season 4 for early next year....I think I can't remember...
I think I read that on www.firstones.com
neways, B5 is good!

Yup, that's "Into the Fire". Strangely enough, I one of my earlier B5-related memories was seeing a preview for that, where Sheridan says "Good morning gentlemen. This is your wake-up call." BOOOM! That's actually what first interested me in the series.
However, I didn't start watching regularly until I came to college and had the Scifi channel.
Speaking of which, anyone know when Scifi is going to start showing B5 again?

I just checked Scifi's schedulebot. B5 is listed at 4pm in January.
Now the question is whether they'll pick up at the season 1 finale "Chrysalis" (where they left off), or start over.

^Scifi stopped just before the season 1 finale in late November. According to www.scifi.com/schedulebot , it starts again January----probably with the S1 finale, "Crysalis".

Ah. That's season 4. The (somewhat disappointing) wrapup to the Shadow arc.
