my first attempt at a story

Mission Log

It�s the year 2270, I am Ka� Johny Speed general of the Luxon battle group Frell Tor, We have just been sent to attack a race called the Nebratle (or as I will come to know them later as the Borg).
They are a cyborg type species with no active conscience. They live they live in a hive with a queen as he boss.
Me and my ship Talyn were in the secondary attack group as we approached the main battle Talyn detected a ship that we had not seen before so I decided to go take a look to see if it was a threat to the group.
As we approached we detected that it was under attack from the Nebratle so we decided to help the weakened ship I ordered Talyn to charge all weapons & raise the shields.
As we got closer the Nebratle decided that we were more off a threat so one of them broke off to attack us I ordered Talyn to fire his main cannon at full charge!
With a large flash the Nebratle cube was destroyed the other Nebratle ship broke off its attack on the unknown ship and fled.
We proceeded on to investigate the other ship, it attempted to hail us, but as we tried to communicate it was apparent that they did not have translator microbes so I could not understand what they were saying.
I ordered Tayln to access the ships database & create new microbes for me, so I would be able to understand them.
Whilst Tayln proceeded to scan their ship we noticed an increase in power and their weapons charged so I ordered Tayln to go in to attack mode.
But Tayln had successfully created new microbes & I was able to communicate with them I found out that they were a peaceful species who only wish to make alliances for technological & peace treaties with new species.
They were from apart of the galaxy that we never got because their wasn�t much their they called it the Alpha quadrant and they had been transported to this quadrant by an experimental wave which had went wrong and they went of course.
The drive that had brought them here was unfixable and they were starting the long journey home.
I decided that it would be safe to go and talk to the captain of the ship to see if we could help, as we were more advanced than they were.
They hadn�t discovered faster than light speed travel.
After long talks it was decided that me & Tayln would take the to their home world.
By using Tayln to transport their ship using his Starburst.
Even using starburst it would take two years as we could only travel half the distance in one starburst & it takes 9 weeks for Tayln to recharge his drive.
The Captain agreed to place his ship into Taylns hold till we get there.
After we had placed the Starship into the hold I invited the Captain & his first officer to Taylor�s bridge.
When we arrived at the bridge the captain wanted to learn more about Tayln & his systems but I did not tell him at that point in case something happened to us when we got to his system!
In the nine weeks it took Tayln to recharge his drive the captain and me took my battle ship which is a Luxon space ship which is heavenly armoured to the nearby Borg colony to show him what the Federation was up against!
He was deeply stressed with what he saw.
Asking me to help the Federation prepare for the Borg as the Federation was not as tecknologically advanced as the Borg.
On the way back to Tayln I told the Captain that I was in contact with my ship at all times through a direct neurone up-link which lets me keep in contact with Tayln at all times.
Just then Tayln sent me a warning that he has detected the Borg in this area on an intercept course with us.
I Ordered Tayln to intercept us at this location and charge weapons.
I decided that I better prepare for a battle with the Borg for the second time that arn (hour) I charged my weapons and raised my shield by this time the Captain was starting to get worried!
He asked me what was up & I told him that there are 4 Borg Queen ships on an intercept course.
And that my ship could not managed 4 Queen ships on it�s own I would need Taylns help or we would lose!!!!!
So as the Borg ships approached Tayln was doing his best to get hear as quick as he could but he was still weak off the Starburst, which also limits his weapon power!
The captain and me decided to attack the first ship in range I charged me weapon�s locked on the target waited till he was in range and fired badly damaging the first ship!
Then we started attacking the other three ships.
That�s when Tayln arrived and took care of the remanding ships.
As we boarded Tayln the Captain had a worried expression on his face.
Later Tayln informed me that the members of the star ship were having a meeting.
In the mess hall and were talking about the strength of Tayln and me.
As he was telling me a small Borg ship came, out of the blue and it transported some drones onto Tayln I announced over the com that we had Borg drones on board and to protect them selves as I made my way to the crew of the other starship.
I encountered three members of the other ship as well as a few Borg drones which we killed but I noticed that the other members of the Borg had mad their weapons useless against them.
They noticed that my weapon had more of an effect and that they did not adapt to my weapon.
Later that day I had a talk with the captain who started to ask me more questions about my sward/bio-gun, I told him that I was not prepared to talk about me weapons or my ship till we get them home. A few days passed before we could get underway again. The captain had spent most of his time with his ship he had also been accessing Tayln database. When I told the captain that we were ready to starburst again he was very pleased but as well it seemed he didn�t wont to go just yet! As if he was waiting for something or someone!
We agreed that we should leave now before we were attacked again.
I ordered the crew of the other ship to prepare for emendate starburst as we were preparing to go into the final stage ten Borg cubes dropped into normal space & immediately fired the torpedoes at us.
Only one of them hit us but it did enough damage to the ship to disable the starburst chamber but it was to late for them to stop us entering the rift we had already created.
Within 2 minuets we were back into the normal space in the Alpha Quadrant.
Tayln informed me that he would not be able to move from this spot for a couple of years as he had been badly damaged and would have to rebuild his Starburst chamber!
So the Star ship informed me that they had fixed their ship and were able to go back to Starfleet HQ and tell them to come meet with me to discuss mien & Taylns situation.
I happily agreed.
Within a day three starships appeared in front of Tayln he proceeded to charge weapons and was raising shields when I told him to stand down that they were here to help so Tayln stood down.
The flagship hailed us with the captain we had brought here to translate.
The President of the Federation himself I was very honoured to be speaking to the President of Earth!
He asked me if I would join them back on their home world Earth for talk�s for some type of treaty or something as I did not understand that word I later found out it meant an agreement of some type.
The President asked me if I would tell them about me, my species & my ship I said I would tell them all I know.
I told them that Tayln was very weak and damaged and could not go so they agreed to tow him to Earth�s shipyard orbiting the planet to see if the could help him.
So they tried to tow him but they found because of size that it would take more than three ships to do it they sent a bigger ship they had a cargo type and it towed Tayln back.
I decided to go back with the President. To have the talks with them!
On the home planet we spent days talking about what I will and wont tell them.
I decided to share with them but I did agree that I would not tell them everything I new.
I did agree to stay and help them in creating more technology to help defend them self�s and to tell them about my species and all the other species I know of.
Over the years I grew more into the Federation.
I even went through their Academy.
I took jobs in different places in the Federation.
But I found that I loved to teach the cadets at the Academy best.
So when I was of rank to ask if I could become an Admiral and Teach at their new base they were setting up in the Delta Quadrant as well as taking over the new Academy planet which I gracefully accepted.
And here I still am Admiral Ka� Speed Head of Deltafleet Academy with my bio training ship the new USS Tayln.
