or see www.artasylum.com for pictures of all Trek figures out now and coming up in the months ahead. These are only the figures made by Art Asylum though, so you wont find any figures here from DS9 or Voyager...they're making the Assimilation line of figures which look pretty good...apparently the figures use latex for skin

Well I just ordered the Archer figure so I guess I shall see soon enough...apparently, according to one site, the leg joints are concealed or something...

Well Archer arrived today and the figures are great! They are much better thatn the Playmates ones with alot more detail. The leg joints are concealed by the rubber clothes on top (I can't really describe it other than it feels weird) but they are really posable. I have mine in my room (I had to open him) stood on top of my Seven of Nine boxset with his Phase Pistol at my figure of Sisko's (complete with captain's chair) head....mwa ha ha ha...although he doesn't stand very well on the display stand.

Anyone know when the figures of Trip, Hoshi and Phlox in uniform are released? They come out at the same time as Reed and Mayweather in EVA suit I think...I think I'm gonna hav 2 collect em all...they're so much better than the Playmates ones.

Hello all-

It's been a while since I've been on this board. I've been spending alot of time on Art Asylum's(they make the toys) message board. I just thought I'd give my two cents:

I have bought all the Enterprise Broken Boww Figures (Archer, Mayweather, Reed, T'Pol, Silik, Klangg) along with the "Trek Tek" ( phase pistol/communicator) and The Enterprise NX-01 12 inch starship. I have to say that I am ver pleased with the quality and the craftsmanship put into these figs. Needless to say it cost me a pretty penny. The 6 BB figs were $45, Enterprise was $20 and the Trek Tek was $20, thats not including shipping and handling. Just thought you'd all like to know.

Newforcecomics.com is a great resource to buy ENT stuff, they are by far the cheapest on the net and they have excellent customer service! If you need/want Enterprise stuff go there First or stop by Art Asylum's message board to get all the latest toy news.

Cool, you'll have to tell me if it is any good. I have all of the Broken Bow figures now and have ordered the Trip and Hoshi Away Team figures. I have heard rumours that Art Asylum might be cancelling the Wave 3 figures as the Wave 2 (Away Team) just aren't selling. I don't know if this is true though. I hope it isn't.

I have mine randomly displayed around my room. I'm sad like that. They're not really toy figures but display figures- the legs are joined with a soft material that does not show the joints etc. I imagine that if they were played with, this would soon deteriorate.

I'm in the UK and have never seen them in an actual toy shop like toys r us. They have them in many specialist stores (Forbidden Planet for example- found all over the country I think although I don't know where...) However, I get the majority of mine from www.ebay.co.uk (I buy them new/sealed). If you live in the US they are available from www.amazon.com amongst other places. They aren't however available from www.amazon.co.uk in the UK...I live on the east coast of England near a city called Hull. My closest specialist store is in sheffield (but we visit relatives there quite often so its not too bad) and there is also one in York. Don't know if that's any good to you.....

My Trip and Hoshi figures came today...they're pretty good although I can't clip their helmets on properly as I'm worried I might break the clips. But they're still as greatly detailed as the others although Trip's hair is a little darker me thinks?????

The Trip Tucker in Uniform figure is available now. I know this is an old topic but I didn't think my comment warranted starting a new thread. I got mine today from "The Last Picture Show" in Meadowhall priced 14.99 and they had quite a few in stock. They are also available to buy from www.scifiwarehouse.com in the UK...it says on the front of the packaging that they are a "UK Exclusive" under the "Gearforgames" trademark. I really wish Art Asylum hadn't started releasing figures under the "Exclusive" slogan - it makes them so much more expensive...oh well...only the Hoshi figure I need now
