Wait a sec----how could it have been written by his wife? It was originally sung by Rod Stewart in that movie with Robin Williams as a doctor.....Patch Adams. Couldn't remember the name for a sec.
So his wife wrote it, the other guy sung it for that movie, then he sings it for ENT? It just doesn't feel right.......
EDIT: The name Diane Warren comes to mind. Might that be who you meant?

Faith of the heart
It's been a long road, getting from there to here. It's been a long time, but my time is finally near. And I can feel a change in the wind right now, nothing is in my way. And they're not gonna hold me down no more, No they're not gonna hold me down.
Cos I've got faith of the heart, going where my heart will take me. I've got faith to believe I can do anything. I've got strength of the soul, no one's gonna bend or break me. I can reach any star, I've got faith, I've got faith into the heart.
It's been a long night, trying to find my way, Through the darkness. Now I've finally had my day. And I will see my dream come alive at last, I will touch the sky
I am working on getting ahold of the music

The theme song for Enterprise is entitled "Where my heart will take me", I think it's a cool song.

Email me I have the song.
And 5thhouse, the lyrics for verse 2 are different.:
It's been a long road gettin' from there to here. It's been a long time but my time is finally near. And I will see my dream come alive at last, I will touch the sky. And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna change my mind.
Cause I've got faith of the heart, I'm going where my heart will take me, I've faith to believe I can do anything, I've got strengh of the sould and no-ones gonna bend or break me, I can reach any star...
I got faith ( I got I got I got)I got faith, faith of the heart.

I love it. It always seems to play on the radio when I should be watching Enterprise. Coincidence? I think not!

That song just reminds of Rod Stewart being gay,

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.
