quark wouldn't be Quark without Odo always finding some fault in him and Odo wouldn't be Odo without the usual quark & odo quarrels even in the first episode Emissary they are seen arguing and in what you leave behind Odo's last scene on the station they were seen arguing

Quark is the best on DS9 but i agree they couldnt live without eachother.
even the series (i forget the name) where odo is relived of his duty Quark has a show of emotion and hates to see Odo go.
