diferent uniforms

tos is probably the only startrek series that has explored many diferent typs of uniforms, can anyone tell me why they changed uniforms so offten

back in the time of TOS, each ship or starbase had a diferent insignia or symbol, later starfleet setled on an insignia that was very appropraitew, they took the insignia of the enterprise n made it fleet wide, this happened during the time that the movies were made.

oh ya, thats right, it looked like a red uniform that had a flap thingy

starfleet protocal, but the newer uniforms are better

and if you look closely, you'll notice that even in the newer series the uniforms are changing slightly. TNG uniforms are different from DS9 uniforms, which are also different from voyager uniforms. TOS and the movies that spawned from it just have uniforms that tended to have drastic changes.
