no, not in terms of power or tatical ability! what do you think of the 2 designs. many people will argue that they both look the same. arpart from the catamaran hull structure nothing else stands out to me.

no, because if you look where the necelles start to form, the necells are higher and they come out from the top , on the enterprise, the necells just come out the back, and on the akira the main command area and living quraters, everything, is lower then on the enterprise

Enterprise looks exactly like the akira class

Yes they do look alike. The Akira class could just be a homage to the old NX-Class

they look alike but they are not identical.the akira was desgined based on nx1

i believe that the akira class has shields as well
not polarised hull plating
