Just a question regarding the time travel admiral Janeway did.
I haven't seen Star Trek ever make use of the paralel universe theory. The timeline used in Star trek seems to be absolute. ie. you can travel back and forth changing the past/future and return.
Now something bothers me in end game. Admiral Janeway goes back in time to help voyager get home. she then dies saving voyager.
Now admiral Janeway had all the reason to commit her life to going back in time to save voyager because she lost half of her crew. Janeway(the captain) has got no reason to do so. she came home safely with her crew, will not commit her life to go back in time, she will not die saving voyager.
Then who is the admiral? if the future is changed so janeway will not return to save voyager? so two things are possible, voyager is saved by someone else, or voyager has seen a being from a paralel universe.
because it is quite simple. if the timeline was absolute, (adm)janeway would have gone back in time, saved voyager, died and (cpt) Janeway would have gone home safely, lived her live happy and not gone back in time because there is no need to for her. Then not gone back into the past and not saved voyager............

Even if Janeway did vanish from the change in the timeline, there would be 2 distinct times. Even if Janeway vanished, there would still be that one instant in which the entire timeline was created, so everything had happened. Admiral Janeway would vanish and restore the old time, and the complete timeline of that branch would have played out. In essence, even though the alternate timelines don't exist together, they all occured entirely, even if for a moment.

so in other words part of the theory of parralel universes is found here. I mean this is new to Star Trek. Time has always been shown as absolute.

I said this in another forum, and ill say it again.
For tiem travel to work ther are 2 pre-requisites:
1) Time is based on the spiral theory.
2) Every instant every outcoem etc. all exist simultaniously in paralel dimensions that coexists and the path of tiem sankes through specific onees, but can be altered.

becuse if you change the past it changes the future and you would never have been sent back to fix it, so it would hapen and you would be sent back, but then it never happend so you wouldent be sent back.............................................................(infinity)
(You would be stuck in a time loop)
