I find it interesting that in many episodes of Enterprise Archer gets his ass kicked. If my memory serves, every Captain since Kirk could hold their own in a bar room Brawl. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Archer is a pushover by any means. I'd just like him to win a fight here and there. Am I wrong? Let me know.

Yeah, i wonder why the writers would do that, it makes him seem like a weekling, but thats ok

It's a bit more realistic that he gets beat up sometimes, god if only I seen neelix get a good thrashing .....

Yeah, its good to see a captain who actually goes on away missions and stuff, pretty much only Janeway did that

2 reasons:
1: he goes down to most of the planets they visit,
and
2: he's frankly not the best diplomat
