Do you think that Archer is doing a good job of being a Captin so far? Why or why not?

At first I didn't think so.

I mean, he was getting beaten up and/or captured every other episode.

However, after "Fallen Hero" I think he's finally starting to fit into the role!

You would think by now he would have come up with some rules to obide by. He does keep getting into trouble, and you'd think he'd realize why.

Archer is doing a fine job in my opinion, he is more like a kirk, but i think thats a good thing, i mean some aliens are not always nice, and to have a kirk like guy is a good thing. but then agian, i dont want him to turn into a a kirk.

no i disagree, a kirk character would suit DS9 or the original, but you need a piccard captain as most of the first contacts are gonna be against suppior species.

Yes, but you have to remember that it's a jump back in time. It's more likely that a capt. of that time would be more like Kirk because they evolved into captains like Picard. It makes more sense that way.

I think Archer's doing a Good Job as Captain

He Reminds Me of Captain Kirk. though Archer's more Laid back and relaxed.

I really don't care for Kirk. He's one of those people that just has everything good happen to. I was glad to see him in Generations. I thought that was hysterical. Especially the line, "I think the Galaxy owes me one." Cuz with his record, it's true!

That's true. the Galaxy did Owe him one. I just wish they Made his Departure from Star Trek alot better then Killing him. I dont think that was one of the plans Mr. Roddenberry had In mind for kirk in the future?

Please, he's only human. He's gotta die sometime, and I think a thousand years after he should have been dead is more than plenty of reward for him.

Yeah, and in the old days the bad guys never died either....they kept coming back. We have plenty of star trek w/o him. He led his life, now let it die. It's to crazy to keep him coming back!

Tasha Yar did. And a lot of other characters. Give him a rest for pity's sake.

I would say he is the worst captain out of all the startrek captains right now. But maby he might get better in the follwing sesons.

I think he'll develop better, shows and characters always do. But I don't think he's doing the best he possibly could. Though I don't know if that's his fault, or the writers.

he is the dumbest captain I have ever seen! T'Pol would be way better than him, and he's so blinded by his pride for humanity, that it clouds his judgement. Oh, and another thing. You call that acting??? HA!

They're trying to make him more like Kirk, right down to the acting.
